You and me both.

To make matters worse, our company and its president, decided with all their infinite wisdom, to contract a third party software company to replace our entire system to which they will host on their site, which means that the whole IT department will be wiped out. It feels like a coup is going on behind the scenes. I'll be jobless by the end of this year, perhaps earlier. I don't think I'll last till June, at most.

I have a doctor appointment this morning. It's going to be difficult to convince myself I need to go to work after.

You're the boss, do whatever you want!

Any plans to get into another company?

Our system is down right now, has been for almost two hours so I've just been coasting. Hopefully it's down after my lunch too.

Jesus. Hopefully something will change and you won't lose your job. Might not be a bad idea to start putting feelers out though--just in case.

:lol Unfortunately that means I usually have to work more. I'm definitely leaning toward just making an appearance at the end of the day though. I'll have to make up for it the rest of the week, but the last thing I want to do today is work. I'm in a "get something to eat then take a nap" mood.

Man I'm so bored at work. Didn't schedule anyone today but am writing reports and notes just wanting to up and leave.

My coworkers are across the hall just laughing and talking about how tired they are and ****. I closed my door and avoiding that nonsense. I'm so totally not social today (except for here) hahaha

im dying sitting here w/ zod's ebola i caught last week... still kicking my ***!
so much for no more sick days due to people abusing the policy!!

Going to ride it out till the purge basically.
I want to collect unemployment for at most, a month while finding a job. Whatever work will take me.

Still down?

It's like a coup going on. I can't honestly tell what's going to happen! They're training us but for what? I think our current manager feels bad and wants to give us something before we get purged.

That's me, every day. And I'm sick too.

Just ordered some LEGOs. I had $55 in credit to burn.

I can imagine. I never got into Legos. Nothing against them, but I assume it was due to me being preoccupied with Transformers/Power Rangers.

Although I could see myself buying a set nowadays. I was real tempted to buy that Super Star Destroyer.

Yeah it's pretty amazing what the Legos have turned into! When I was a kid they were just blocks only nothing else! I don't have any of them either, but I thought about picking up that millennium falcon!

I picked this guy up yesterday. Turned out a lot better than I expected! Little tricky to get posed right, but once he is standing straight, it looks pretty slick!

Going to paint it up and add a little more detail work to it with some paint and some weathering. Then tear apart the electronics box and wire it to be constant power for the lights

I wish I would have picked that up when I had a chance. I just couldn't rationalize spending the money on it then. Now, building a LEGO set is like my moment of zen for the day and that thing would have taken awhile to build.

The Prime 1/2 scale Superman statue from BvS is back in stock at Sideshow. I still haven't ordered it because I'm waiting to see in-hand pics first, but it pisses me off that Sideshow has pieces go on the wait list then off the wait list within a couple weeks.
