I'm expecting to lose power since the power goes out if a squirrel sneezes next to a transformer, but I don't think it's going to be nearly as bad as people think. Ice storms happen here every now and then so people should know better what to expect instead of freaking out.

I may cut out of work a little early today to see Rogue One before it leaves the theater here. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high for it since TFA was so disappointing for me.

From the clips I've seen of it, I find the concept of it at least interesting. I've seen the Vader scenes and those are great.

I've tried not to read a ton of spoilers though I think I probably know most of what happens in the film already. It sounds a little darker so I think I'll like it overall.

I'm toying with the idea of doing content for my Youtube account. Maybe do some game playthroughs with commentary and toy reviews.

I have a moment every now and then when I think about doing toy/statue reviews on YouTube but have never gone through with it. As long as you enjoy doing it then I say go for it.

The only thing that's held me back is getting a way to record stuff. I wouldn't know how to do it from my TV but on my PC it's simple.

talkin about doing it to eventually turn a buck or just doin it for shiz and giggles?

I've always wanted to do it anyway, but money is a factor yes :lol

There's dozens and dozens of games I'd love to do. Not to mention, do figure reviews of my collection. I got almost 100 1/6 figures alone.

nice! i always read its a real ****** to turn $ on youtube... its so dam confusing when you look how it's structured. but if even if you only turn a few $$ it's still worth it for having fun w/ your hobby junk and getting paid!

I have reasonable goals. Even a few bucks a month would be a success.

I'd say go for it. You'll need a good microphone, a capture card and a HDMI splitter that bypasses HDCP (High bandwidth Digital Content Protection).

Your cat is so cute :duff

Thanks Pliss!

You lost me beyond microphone :lol

Well, basically whatever splitter you use must have a bypass filter so it could display images from your consoles, it's usually present in all splitters after 2010 but it pays to be slightly aware of it. What would happen if you don't have HDCP is that you won't get any image, since Sony doesn't like their HDMI signals going trough any other device buy your TV.

It's really nothing complicated, the best thing to do is to research on whatever capture card you'll end up using and you'll be fine. :duff
