I have a lady that works for me that's like that... She'll pop her head in my office every damn morning and say "How are you???".... She just walked in.... I'm waiting for the obligatory "how was your weekend, Rich????" with her big dumb smile. I'll respond with "It was okay" or "Good" or "Short"... Meanwhile I'm thinking "Get the **** outta my office!!!"

I'm the same way. Most of the girls here have learned to leave me alone. It always takes awhile for the new ones to realize that I'm genuinely not interested in participating in office small talk. I would gladly work from home if I could just to avoid having to talk to them.
