The studio is intent on making the movie no matter what, as the Batman franchise has proven to be bigger than one person.

They'd rather **** out a script they can film quickly by a guy that can point a camera in the general direction of anyone in a suit with a bat on it than take their time to get a good story on film under the direction of someone who will do the franchise justice with an actor that gets the character.

DC needs a slice of that Marvel pie, they can't afford to have Batman on the sidelines when a new Avengers movie is coming up. But while Marvel is killing it with their movies, DC is still chasing after that bus with it's pants down.

It's embarrassing, the notion that DC is willing to prostitute Batman by not having a clear vision of what to do with him, yet Iron Man 3- clearly an afterthought in the MCU, was more entertaining than BvS or SS.
