Bashing an I am Legend figure, waiting for a head to arrive next week. I'm always trepedatious on putting up a bash since I feel like I'm the minority who actually loved the movie. :lol

Looks great! I didn't love the movie, but I liked it. I think some of the hate it gets is from the people that were tired of Will Smith at the time.

I don't like Will Smith all that much either, especially after his excessive nepotism push but I though he was brilliant in the film and I totally forgot he's Will Smith. The film also benefits greatly on blu ray because the sound is so, sooo good. With a home theater setup, you literally feel like you're there. :lol

I don't think I've seen it in years. I may have to give it another go and see if it's better than I remember.

Yeah, I am Legend is certainly a winner on blu just for the immersive experience alone. Do you have some kind of home theater setup? If so, what are your favorite blu rays?

I've only seen parts of it. I couldn't tell you if it's good or not, but I'm not a Will Smith fan.

I can't say if you'll like it or not but it's definitely worth a watch. It's pretty slow paced with not much happening, forcing you to soak in the post-apocalyptic NYC atmosphere. The acting, music and a certain death scene are well done, and I don't like Will Smith either! :lol

I have a basic setup with a receiver and a few speakers but not anything special. If I crank up the sound I can get a decent theater experience going though. I watch pretty all my films on blu ray so it's tough to pick favorites, but over the last few weeks I really enjoyed Dredd, T1 & T2, John Wick, and Robocop.

i liked it too rook...
my wife absolutely HATES that dog scene in the apartment!! lol

i had a gt500 exactly like the red one at the start of the flick... as shelby was pushing the beginning of bringing them back to the mustang line, so i had a soft spot for the flick!

but overall it was a good movie. not necessarily a will smith fan either, but don't hate him as an actor. thing that irritates me most is dumping his kid in projects. def not a fan of him! lol

I just finished the movie few minutes ago after not seeing it for a few years and that scene with Sam gets me all the time. I like the theatrical ending way more than the alternate ending, which I thought robbed the theme of Neville finding his faith again.

That Mustang is amazing! I wish I could get one, but they don't import any where I live. :lol

And yeah, his kids sucks. I can't stand them.

Maybe he's just a spoiled little **** that's never been told "no" or been taught common sense. :lol He's been brought up in a wealthy home with access to anything he wants and parents that let him do whatever he wants. Add access to the internet and his being a ****** was inevitable.
