It used to be the TV. Now, it's earbuds or headphones. I can't take silence. Doesn't work for me. Some opera or classical and I'm out like a light.

I used to leave the tv on but I stopped when I learned that sleeping with the tv on can make you sick. the LED light can decrease your melatonin, which controls your sleep...how easily you fall asleep as well as how well you stay asleep. Melatonin deficiency can create a bunch of problems. can even affect your heart.

We also keep on a ceiling fan when we sleep. I have a hard time falling asleep without it going. Also use a little cricket sound effect thing on my iPhone... find that comes in handy too.

I have this on when I'm going to bed, it helps my mind wind down much faster since I usually have a difficult time falling asleep. Maybe it would help you guys.

I have one of those sleep number beds with the heating/cooling pad that runs as loud as a fan. I've gotten so used to it that it's difficult to sleep without the noise. Another thing I like is complete darkness in the room. I got black out shades for my windows to cut out as much light from outside as possible.

How do you like the bed? Our current bed is at that 8 year time frame and about ready for a new one... we've been talking about maybe going that route.

I really like it. I like being able to make the bed firm or soft since I never know how my back is going to be day to day. They're expensive, but you can get really good deals when they have a sale during Labor Day, Black Friday, etc.

Every report I've seen on them says they last much longer than a regular mattress. They give you a full warranty for 2 years and a limited warranty for 25 years.

I probably shouldn't be as excited as I am for these, but I ****ing love Gremlins.

Gremlins was what finally got me to break into Lego Dimensions. Having Gizmo and Stripe minifigures made me feel complete, even though I'd never really bought Legos before.
