I wish Threezero would start a 1/6 Guyver line... or anyone at this point. I've been reading through it the last few months and I must say, it's quite fun and the designs are all interesting.

I'm nervous about it but decided today I'm going to test out Sling tv. I already have Netflix. I'll be paying $40 per month for Netflix and sling. I realized it just don't watch much tv. I watch Netflix and Roku more than anything.

I'll report back once I get it all set up. I hate paying $120 per month for tv I don't really use and would rather use that money for other costs.

Cable cuter here, 3+ years and never looked back. It was hard at first, but I've gotten used to watch what I want, and most importantly, when I want.

This is how I do it: iTunes cards.

These are on sale 100% of the time, usually 15-20% off and they work magically if you have an iPhone. Most streaming apps have what's called "in app purchases" (Netflix, HBO now, WWE network, Showtime, Hulu, etc etera) that can be paid with iTunes credit, so you are getting those at a reduced price!

Also, most of those passwords can be shared! So let's say a family member wants HBO, you can split the cost per month and it's unlimited!

My mom still has cable, so I got her login info for some apps that require provider credentials (xfinity, amc, etc) so I'm set of I need to watch something current (better call Saul) but be advised they all show commercials.

All I have at home is internet, and streaming services that I share with family members. My final cost per month is almost $65 all included (internet also, 40 mbp's down, more than sufficient).

To think some pay upwards $160 for cable, per month makes what I pay a steal!

My Directv per month is around $155-160. I wish I could pick the channels I wanted and just pay for those. I have hundreds of channels and probably regularly watch shows on 20 of them.

Is there anything there you MUST watch that can't be watched probably later once it comes to Netflix or the like?

Sports maybe?

Not really. I don't watch anything in real-time anymore. Everything goes on the DVR and I watch it later. With sports I watch on the same day, I have it recording and I'll start watching it an hour later so I can fast-forward through commercials.

Ah I see. That was one of the hardest things, not watching episodes, etc the day they aired.

On the upside, I enjoy binge watching now. Sports might be tricky though, and ESPN, even as an add on in sling is about $10-15 a month.

My main concern is adding up all the stuff I'd have to subscribe to in order to not miss anything like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. and what combination of them would be the most efficient. I'll just have to do some work and figure out what I have to watch and what I don't.

Oh absolutely. It does take a bit of writing down amounts and most importantly choosing what you can or can't live without.

For me, it was the walking dead. But the whole thing has become a Telemundo telenovela IMO, so I can always laugh at it when it's on Netflix.

I think I need one

I can definitely live without The Walking Dead. :lol

I watched the first and part of second season. I love zombie movies. Easily one of my favorite horror genres, but I can only take so much. TWD is such a downer every episode and every human in it has the capacity to be a blood thirsty villain, that it just became too much for me. Even in Romero's dead movies, there is always a little light at the end of the tunnel, and by and large, people are good. They are just trying to survive. In the walking dead, everybody is a cold blooded killer.

I don't know what the hell happened yesterday, but I all of a sudden got the flu. I was fine all morning until about 11 then I started getting achy, nauseous, and had a fever. I still feel like ****. Hopefully I'll get over it today. There must be some super-strain **** getting shared on a regular basis, because between this and the ebola I couldn't get rid of, I've been sick a lot this year.

My old lady is a walking dead fan. So always watch it. It's ok to me... kinda the SSDD after a bit tho.

You and your Ebola! Lol

I enjoyed the series for a few seasons, but I stopped watching The Walking Dead this last season. Most of the time I found myself fast-forwarding through all the stupid **** anyway. Each season has a become more about having a good first episode, mid season finale, and finale. The rest of the episodes are bland filler. Even after Negan, the stories are just going to be the same. Everyone thinks things are fine, they meet a new group of *******s, everything goes to ****, rinse/repeat. Besides, there's no ending that's going to make everything they've gone through worth it so I can't keep myself invested.

I still enjoy the escape the show brings. Newest comic issue was pretty dark so I wonder if show will continue to that or stop before.

Ugh it's Monday.

This is going up for preorder Thursday. I think I'm going to get it, but these prices are at least making me think about it first.

Looks fantastic! Troy Baker does the best Mark Hamill impression out there. Heck, he kinda has the face to pull of a live action Joker too. :lol
