It's crazy here in the UK. Don't know why I even bother adding an international shipping option when I Ebay old figures. I suspect companies must get some kind of volume discount considering my Australian friend was telling me the other day that he orders most of his clothes online from London because the shipping is cheaper internationally than internally.

that's just ridiculous! it's the same for me from popcultcha in AUS. i order from the scammers at sideshow and get nailed $20+ for a std size hot toys box... it's $14 coming from 1/2 way around the globe from PC!

I agree. Not like I have a ton of time anymore to play games like I used to but I've found myself holding off on buying a lot of games the last couple years. It's frustrating to buy a game and realize it was sold to you incomplete. Stuff like skins should be unlockable, and the same goes for extra gameplay levels. You play the **** out of the game and you get rewarded with extra bits like you used to in the old days.

but honestly, i just think things are getting more ridiculous as time goes on. things are more complicated than they need to be 1/2 the time. prices are jacked thru the roof WAY too much cause people got that "have to have it" mindset so companies know they can charge these stupid costs and the sheeple will follow. just look at the new sunstreaker MP... they've jacked a car bot to $120... ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS!! just unbelievable! but they'll get the price tag cause people blindly spend the dough and don't speak w/ their wallets. i love all the cornball "oh the engineering into it" "OH the paint they put on it" lol makes me crack up! i am in engineering business... i work for a world wide company as well as run my own business... i see this all first hand. engineering costs are down... software costs are a quarter of what they were for high end 3d modeling packages... gas prices are 1/3 of what they were several years ago... people are out of work and work for lots less than they used to... sorry, that doesn't equate to double the price products. companies cashing in on the "have to have it" mindset is a big part of what is making things get so ridiculous.

$120 for the TF cars is insane. I haven't ordered Megatron yet because of the $240 price tag.

Yeah they really have gone off the reservation! I refuse to pay that kind of coin for an MP car and the $240 price tag on Megatron is absolutely laughable! But just goes to show that people will pay whatever they ask as it sold well from what I hear.

Hopefully it's as good as the hype. Too bad JL will **** the DCEU up again. I will never stop being pissed DC didn't set up their new film universe with individual character films first and gotten rid of Goyer and Snyder after MOS. WW may be further proof that they should have done so.

I go back and forth in my interest in Transformers and I have limited myself to only the autobot car bots. I really wanted Sunstreaker to go with Sideswipe. You can expect Jazz to cost that as well I bet if they ever get to making him.

I guess Takara must have looked at what the 3P companies were getting away with and decided to follow suit. Everything post-MP10 simply hasn't had the quality to back up its cost in my opinion, not compared to what other companies like Bandai offer in their Macross lines, for example.
