I think the good convention stories are when he's "on"--like he has to put on a show because that's what's expected when a group of fans are around. He may let his real attitude slip when it's just a one-on-one encounter.

I agree that he's not the worst comic book celebrity out there, but I think he's earned some of the backlash he's gotten. Plus, I can't stand his art.

It's like the movie Mean Girls here sometimes. One will say something as a joke that the others take as mean and then they won't talk to her for a couple days, sometimes they won't help each other do something because they're "mad" at them about whatever stupid ******** offense has been thought to be made, every now and then one will date the brother or friend of another one and that causes drama that makes work between them all more difficult, etc. Forming cliques then backstabbing each other in the cliques causes drama. Honestly, I'm amazed any work gets done at all.

This woman is doing what we call "splitting." She runs to someone and pretends to play victim and gain support. Later, she goes to someone and talks **** about others, trying to create drama between people.

What's crazy to me is that all the drama isn't limited to the younger girls--which I would expect. The ages span from 18-50 and they all get involved in it.

I had a buddy in the last office I was in and we would shoot the **** sometimes about collectibles and stuff but now he's somewhere else now and I'm surrounded by the princesses. At this point, I'd rather work in a box, alone, for 8 hours.
