I 100% agree with getting rid of the Frank Miller influence in the films. It's an end of the road story that has no place in the films when they're introducing the characters. As much as I enjoy the story for what it is, I feel that it's completely overrated. Fanboys love it because Batman is a hard *** and gets to beat up Superman. Now I have to read comics and watch movies that perpetuate the ridiculous idea that Superman is such a complete ***** that Batman can beat him because he's wicked smaht and has cool toys. **** that ********.

Oh no, I love the book- but it IS overrated. I think we've had enough of the amount of TDKR homages already that I'm really hoping for a costume overhaul in the next solo Bat film. Remember, even Nolan's Dark Knight Rises was a TDKR homage and it's getting old.

Funnily enough, I think the best TDKR homage came from an episode of Batman the Brave and the Bold, in an episode where Supes gets poisoned by red Kryptonite. Great stuff, even does the "Martha" scene properly. :lol

I'm just hoping these films will ditch the Frank Miller worship in future movies. The poop smear emblem and the Black Panther tiny ears works best in a comic book imo. :lol

I felt like BvS ended on a prime note to bring Bats back in JL with some variation of the classic blue and grey with the gold oval around the bat. I think it would've been a fitting tribute to his [now deceased] new friend Superman, as well as a visual representation of his more optimistic, hopeful outlook about the future from the end of the film. I feel like that was a missed opportunity.

As much as I disliked most of DC's New 52, I love how they portrayed Superman in the Justice League book. He threw off everything Batman, Green Lantern, and Flash threw at him.

That's pretty cool! Were the writers tired of Superman being Batman's bit** all these years or something?

It was a breath of fresh air reading that book in the beginning. They finally portrayed Superman as "super"--smart and powerful like he should be. It looks like the Justice League film is heavily influenced by the first 6 issues of the New 52 Justice League comic, but they seem intent on ****ing it up even though the storyline was pretty damn good as it was.

One of the two has a crooked one on the elbow patch, but it's solidly glued. It doesn't bother me. After owning a figure with a issue for a few years with an issue, I tend to not care anymore :lol

Oh, I checked mine just now too, it does have the shiny spot. I've honestly never noticed.

I'd like to read a story like that! So I need to find a TPB of the N52 JL book?
