What's even more laughable is the fact that there are many single guys out there with high limit credit cards and a lot of empty room space who would actually pay $3,600 for a manufactured statue

Apparently they don't realize that $3,600 would damn near commission an artist to do a similar UNIQUE piece for them!

It's an ambitious piece, and I'm sure there are some people out there that will buy it--but not many. I don't know how anyone thought it would be $2000 though. It's a 1/3 scale person on a 1/3 scale ****ing horse.

How's the Funko gig? I saw video of the new place and it looks INSANE. Makes me want to take a trip up there at some point and check it out.

That was throwing me off too. Overall though, I think it's a good sculpt. I still can't believe they even attempted to make her with the horse. I didn't think it'd be $3600, but I knew the price was going to make people cry.

When I see prices like that I thank the stars statues don't really do much for me, I like jointing and engineering too much.

Been on a Macross binge lately, picked up some of Bandai's Hi-Metal R figures and I've been toying with the idea of buying at least one Arcadia Valkyrie. Every time I visit this thread I feel bad for not having bought anything DC-related in forever

It's killing my interest in 1/6, honestly. I've actually got a few hundred pounds spare to burn right now and don't see anything I'm remotely interested in from HT. It's probably going to go on more Japanese mecha stuff or fancier art supplies at this rate.

That hot toys Yondu they just put up today looks pretty damn impressive to be honest...might be a good place to burn some of your cash!
