I'm getting the impression Disney beat the hype mule too hard with TFA and R1, nobody I know seems to be actually excited for VIII - especially after all the ridiculous **** they've revealed like the Porgs and Goldmemb- I mean Snoke.

Seems like no one has been getting codes. My Donatello is scheduled to ship on Tuesday or Wednesday. We'll see if he has a code on him or not. My Leonardo did.

And what was with the whole production made from sideshow about force Friday? On their special force Friday page they have the entry field for the reward points codes... But they didn't issue a single one?

Yea, it appears those codes on boxes are done. Now only the $2 and $3 codes that only work for two minutes. I have yet to get one of those.

They go from monthly codes that they put out and were shared by everyone. Then to the box ones that I assume they were hoping wouldn't get shared, but they did. Now these small dollar codes that only a very few people will get.

Whatever. I have been looking at other retailers more often now other than SSC. With their high shipping charges, there isn't much of an incentive any more to order with them over TW or BBTS now.

Sideshow's shipping for 1/6 scale figures is killing me. $22 is high--I don't care what anyone says. It's almost as if they're tacking on extra to make up for the reward points they're giving for the purchase. With no $20 coupons, it's much easier to make the decision to buy elsewhere. I don't know how BBTS is doing their $4 shipping, but I'm glad they do it.

This is exactly why stopped using them and went to Timewalker and BBTS.

It's a shell game with SSC, really reward point save you nothing if you have to pay 22 to ship every figure
