Someone found the original pilot for BTAS, complete with the original audio(?).

https://www.facebook.com/BatmanPlanet/videos/1011295875679169/

*The footage itself has been around, just not the original audio. This was featured in one of the DVD sets, but it just used the BTAS theme on loop.

It makes sense that they'd use the Elfman theme since they wanted a darker version of Batman for BTAS, and the Burton films' success is what made that possible.

That's pretty cool! Although it seems in retrospect, the audio didn't to got "lost"- they just needed to avoid copyright for the BTAS DVD release and replaced it with the BTAS theme. :lol

Hey Zod, I started up the new Freaktacular signatures on the Freaks thread. Yours is uploaded.

Got it! Thanks so much! I was just telling my wife that I need to get my *** in gear for Freaktacular--less than a month to go! :rock

And here I am feeling all neglected.... sad face

I've never participated in the freaktacular frenzy... might have to jump in this year with some custom prizes!

Veil did a great job with it--as always. If I had a fraction of his talent, I'd be drawing all day every day--though I suppose if I was doing that then I'd be on my way to having some art skills anyway. :lol

I finished watching Wonder Woman this weekend. I don't get the hype. She had some cute moments and a couple bad *** moments, but overall, the film wasn't great. There were a lot of boring parts, bad jokes, and an absolute **** ton of ****ing slo mo. In every fight scene it was: slo mo punch--a half beat of real time--slo mo kick--half beat of real time--slo mo head turn--half beat of real time--slo mo jump--etc. ****ing enough of that **** already. I wish I hadn't seen any trailers beforehand because a lot of the best scenes were in them. I think I'm going to have to watch it again--hopefully I can make it through it in one sitting this time--before I formulate final thoughts on it.

I really want an iPad Pro to do art on, but those things ain't cheap.

Oh and update on the Youtube venture... I did two live streams and I'm too embarrassed to post them here :lol

I love the iPad Pro, but I'm going to have to learn how to draw using layers and all that stuff in the art app I downloaded. I rarely use photoshop or any art program on my computer so I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to drawing with a tablet. There are so many tricks and settings that it's a bit overwhelming.

Post it in da club. I'm always looking for new reviewers.

Yeah I might do that. We streamed two games (one which had horrible audio but we got an actual microphone now but our camera is ******) but I didn't do any reviews yet. But I definitely intend to. Since I got a iPhone 7 I can take pretty good videos now. I got tons of stuff I can review. I just need to find my tripod to film.

Ah crap. I kinda had a gut feeling based on the reviews that it was generic. It's just that even generic superhero movies are hailed as a masterpiece if it's not BvS/SS bad. What do you think of the movie compared to the 2009 animated film?

They should have just done a shot-for-shot live action version of the animated film. I don't think I've seen anything better than that when it comes to Wonder Woman. I'm going to watch the live action film again, then watch the animated one, and come up with a fresh comparison review.

Gadot is fine most of the time, but with more screen time, I noticed little things that bug me about her when she's not just kicking ***. She's not a great actress so she can't pull off some of the more serious stuff, but she definitely has some cute bits where you can see why she's so popular now. WW was better than BvS and SS, but that's not saying much. As a superhero film, it was just ok. I'm really hoping it gets better with a second viewing. With all the hype surrounding the film, I feel like I need to give it a second chance.

Wonder Woman reminds me of the 2nd 300 movie that came out. Just constant slo-mo. They blew their nose in slo-mo. Only time I enjoyed slo-mo was Eva Green's tetas.

:rock :rock :naughty

I guess I shouldn't have been surprised considering most of the trailers were filled with slo-mo, but they really overdid it.

According to the other forum, Sideshow didn't do a $20 code for August. Figures that I don't get anything shipped for awhile, then several things ship at once and they don't do a code. Mikey and Donatello are supposed to ship for me today so hopefully one of them will have one.

What would you guys suggest for a backdrop for doing figure reviews? I was thinking about some white poster board. I did start my channel, but I'm not sure if I want to make a separate channel for those or just do both under the same one. If you want to sub here's the link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmSZ5ehugA7IzOx9DX2o4TQ I've only done a few streams since I only started this week. Our audio for our first was horrible and the levels were so messed up that the game audio drown us out.
