I'm surprised to see it getting such high praise.
Definitely one of the weaker MCU films for me, definitely worst of Phase 3.

It's a natural progression of MCU tho. They don't know how to handle Thor within their bland formulaic restrictions so they just made "GotG: Part Thor". It could be epic and dramatic, or it could be smart and crazy... Instead it was just dumb and cheap.

Believe the praise tho. After all, it comes from the same crowd that watches every Bayformers entry three times in one week. Oh, and same pseudo-critics who get paid either directly from producers (RT) or via views (blogers).

Maybe the movie will change my mind (doubtful), but so far I'm only planning on getting Superman and maybe another Wonder Woman from JL. The rest of them just aren't worth spending over $200 on.

It's a nice figure, but I wouldn't spend too much on it. That suit sucks, and it's incredibly easy to damage it.

Same here. They outta do a twin pack like they did with Robocop with him as Clark Kent.

It's a great figure, but you have to be careful buying it now. The suit is delicate and the "S" shield may have cracks in it now. Definitely get a ton of pics of it before you buy.

My "S" has some cracking in the edges of it. But I honestly don't care since I'm not entirely crazy about the figure nowadays.

I need to check mine again, but as of a couple months ago I didn't have any cracks showing. I'm sure that will change at some point though--which is why I'd love for them to do a 2.0.

It should of never been a sticker. Tony Mei is doing a suit at some point with a sewn "S".

I do wish I would have bought a couple of the Superman and Evil Superman figures just to have extras though. I don't see HT giving a **** about the older films any more to give the character (or any others) another shot.

This is what I'm afraid of. I'm sure there would still be a demand of a 2.0. I'd probably buy two: one for display and one to keep mint. I'm just not sure HT will do it in the next 5-10 years with Infinity Wars coming up
