Do you have STAS as well? I think I lost mine, so I might buy a new one. That boxset is basic though, just getting it for the episodes.

I have the season box sets. Was there a big box set that included everything?

X-Men feels needlessly hurried along, but it was much better than SS by a huge margin.

I'll pick it up when it goes to blu ray. I wanted to see it in the theater but just never made it.

I don't know how you feel about DOFP but I'd say it's maybe 2-3 steps back from that. I loved DOFP initially, but it's dropped a little since then. Although it's 10x better than Brett Ratner's attempt...

Unfortunately, no. DC needs to get their act together and release the entire DCAU on blu. No Mask of the Phantasm blu ray is insulting.

The other day I preordered Civil War, X-men, Transformers: The Movie, and the GI Joe cartoon movie.

I've enjoyed all the Marvel films for what they are. The only one I really remember being irritated with when I left the theater was Iron Man 3.

Deadpool has probably been the best comic book movie I've seen this year. BvS was a huge disappointment, SS was a mess, and I haven't seen Civil War or X-Men.

I think it was equal or slightly better than X3.

Independence Day 2 was bad, but it could of been worse. The next one will either be great, or Battlefield Earth bad.

I hadn't thought about it, but it does have quite a few similarities. That might be why I liked it because I love Serenity.

I rewatched Serenity earlier this year. It's easily one of my top 10 films because how well made every single scene is. The blu ray is such a audio/visual delight and is what I use to show off my home theater.

What's wrong with Apocalypse? Not that good?

It's trying to do too many things at once and makes all the sub plots thin. DOFP was more slow, but there's more quality in that in light of it.

In Apoc, he's gathering up his Horseman a little too quickly for my taste. Magneto going through the same plot device AGAIN which makes him evil again. Isaac was fine as Apoc, but he's WAY too small. His design is alright, but he should be the 7 foot tall mountain of mutant were used to.

The final battle is eh, but the final final battle I think was better and setups a possible future villain.

David Hayter said that he's willing to come back to write another X-Men movie. He also wrote the script for the canned Black Widow movie. Honestly I don't think Kojima was even aware that Hayter was a screenwriter moonlighting as the voice of Solid Snake.
