I rewatched Serenity earlier this year. It's easily one of my top 10 films because how well made every single scene is. The blu ray is such a audio/visual delight and is what I use to show off my home theater.

It's one of my favorite sci-fi movies. My wife thought Serenity was ok until I made her watch Firefly--now she loves it and is a huge fan of the series. Dallas Comic Con had the entire Firefly cast except for Morena and my wife wanted to meet all of them with me, which usually doesn't happen.

Man, that's so cool!

I would say Firefly is probably the closest thing to a "perfect" TV series. I think I've introduced the series to about 30 of my friends, and only two didn't liked it. That's one hell of a minority! :lol

Btw, my mom and my aunts are currently into Firefly as well. :lol

David Hayter said that he's willing to come back to write another X-Men movie. He also wrote the script for the canned Black Widow movie. Honestly I don't think Kojima was even aware that Hayter was a screenwriter moonlighting as the voice of Solid Snake. :lol

Oh but Sutherland was AMAZING...

He forgot about the project as soon as he left the recording booth the one and only time they recorded him :lol

Jay Tavare (Vega from the SF movie) said Kojima went out of his way to greet him for his role in MGSV. Proof that he years to work with famous people since he never cared for his old cast. :lol

He has to latch on like a leech to anyone involved with being on screen in Hollywood, which is no surprise he's got such a hard on for Reedus. I've come to realize any Hollywood level star involved in games, dooms them.

Can't argue with that. I've never seen a "celebrity" voiced game that was good with the sole exception of the GTA series. :lol

He was really good too. GTA has had some great actors doing voice work. I didn't buy the last one. Was there anyone big in it?

I don't recall any big actors in it but it was certainly a fine, fine game. While it has little replay value, it certainly was some of the most fun I've ever had in a single player story game. Get it!

GTAV was great, but for a game so heavily aimed at heists... you only do five of them and only get paid for three. They really took every nuance out of Michael Mann's Heat, right down to Deniro's grey suit on Michael.

It's definitely worth a pickup, especially on next gen. The difference in foliage in the parts outside of the city are night and day compared to last gen. Not to mention, going first person turns it into a different game altogether.

Yeah, I wish there were more heists. That's a gripe I have, but I adored the game for so many reasons.

Also Trevor is amazing. That is all.

I miss the days when I had more downtime. I used to play video games like crazy. Now it's difficult to start playing one unless I know I'm going to have enough time to get to a save point or won't have to stop in the middle of a big mission.
