I may need a room just for Prime statues. I have the Batman Beyond one now, but have Doomsday, AK Catwoman, Red Hood Joker, Swamp Thing, and both fabric and sculpted cape Supermans (Supermen? :lol ) preordered. I’m waiting for the black and grey variant Batman to go up, and will probably order Ivy as well. I’m well and truly ****ed on space when they start shipping.

I want their AK Batmobile the most, but the price is out of the question. I’m still bummed that there’s no high end model of the car despite being a central feature in the game.

I've really slowed down on 1/6 figures and statues. The price points now make it more difficult to impulse buy anything. I'm waiting for announcements from companies and planning ahead for what I think I'll want later--focusing more on definitive versions of characters than buying everything coming out to complete a line. I'm not jumping on stuff when it goes up for preorder either unless I really want the EX or the ES is low enough to make me worry about not getting it.

What I really need to do is start selling stuff to make room/help pay for the new orders, but I'm dreading dealing with people on eBay or here.

i have to sell so much stuff but im really really dreading that too..... procrastination is killer.

i'm in the same boat... got so much crap sitting in boxes and no time to even deal with it. its honestly getting overwhelming having so much crap and no time to enjoy it. contemplating dumping a bunch of stuff just because space is an issue w/ storing boxes and having so much unopened junk... feel like a GD hoarder!!

plus been so busy w/ regular work and having to head out of town for jobs... and keeping up with my business stuff making parts and painting... i don't have any time for the real reason i'm in the hobby and buy equipment to make things and such... which is making stuff for myself! got like 10 projects that i want to do for myself just no time.

WTF is DC doing? Are they going to do an origin story for every side character instead of a Superman or Batman series?

Pennyworth Batman Prequel Series Set at Epix

The drama helms from Gotham showrunner Bruno Heller and is based on DC characters created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. The series is not a Gotham spinoff but is reportedly an entirely new story exploring Alfred’s origins as a former British SAS soldier who forms a secret company and goes to work with Bruce’s billionaire father, Thomas Wayne, in 1960’s London. Sean Pertwee, who plays Alfred on FOX’s recently renewed Gotham, is not involved with the new project.

With this series, the planned Metropolis Lois/Lex Luthor series, and Krypton, I'm fully expecting new origin series for Steve Trevor, Aquaman's mother Atlanna, Dr. Leslie Thompkins, and Martha Kent.

I will never stop thinking that there is some corporate sabotage going on.
Their failures almost seem on porpose. Lime if some disgruntled producer wants it to burn down.

As incompetent as they've been for years and years now, I think you might be right.

Who honestly wants a show bout Alfred? I can understand Gotham's premise even though I haven't watched it.

they're also making a series on the trials and tribulations of the bag boy where alfred buys the groceries... calling it brown baggin' w/ the bat.

:lol :lol

It just blows my mind when I see announcements like this. And of course the actor that plays Alfred in Gotham or Jeffrey Irons in the films won't be involved--because God forbid they have any sort of continuity. How difficult would it be to have the show be mainly told in the form of flashbacks with one of the established Alfred's narrating? Little stuff like that is easy to do, and it pisses me off that they don't bother with it.

It’s the kind of idea that can be done in flashbacks in a “real” tv show or in a 6-issue comic series. Alfred is only important in the correct context and can only be appreciated in his relationship with Bruce.

What this really makes me think is that someone had an idea for a mid-60's/rich people/espionage drama. That's a lot of boxes to tick, but could we get more? What could make a show like that better? I know, set it in Gotham! The hero isn't just a salt of the earth British SAS badguy, he's also Batman's butler! Cha-ching!

Lifelong comics reader, and the most interested in ever really been in Alfred's past was when he told the story of the their in Burma in TDK.

I think the TV division is not allowed to overlap with the film division at this point, so while they've had a lot of success with Arrow, Flash and Supergirl they're now having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for ideas because the film division don't want to split the brand (pretty stupid if you ask me, but understandable logic at least). Unfortunately the film division is currently a raging tire fire that doesn't have a clue what it's doing so this is probably going to go on for some time.

they might as well have a show about a hero’s sidekick’s girlfriend: her job woes and proximal distance in her relationship.

They’re also inconsistent with the separation. They pulled characters like Deadshot and Waller from Arrow so they could use them in Suicide Squad, but having a TV Flash and movie Flash is ok. Or two Alfred’s, two Gordon’s—they even had another Superman on Supergirl. Then they have that Scorsese Joker movie with another person playing Joker. ****ing stupid.
