Depends on which version. Rebirth Superman's parents are both dead.

A lot of people are expecting Doomsday Clock to undo that, and, in a lot of ways, I hope it does, because I’d like to see a happy, fulfilled Superman with both parents intact (and, also, because I’m a sappy sucker who really wants Jon Kent to see his Grandma and Grandpa), but I really hope that, in time, Johns comes around and un****s Barry Allen.

It’s always been so weird to me that the dude gets such a hard-on for the character to the point where he’d bring him back after nearly two decades of being dead, but, in doing so, remove the one thing that made him so interesting...to me, at least. Barry had no personal trauma, he was just a stand-up dude who got super powers and decided to use them for good. In an odd way, while some might view that as making him boring, I feel like it makes him the most altruistic of all the superheroes, particularly when viewing events like his ultimate sacrifice in COIE.

I want Superman to at least get his mom back. I don't mind Pa Kent dying though. I think his death was a lesson to a young Clark that even with all his power, he can't save everyone. Of course, I'm talking about the heart attack death in the comics, not tornadocide. :lol

Pa Kent’s a weird one for me. Because, while I very much grew up with that heart attack lesson, it’s so wishy washy as part of the accepted canon that it doesn’t bother me a whole lot of it was undone. For me, I feel there are enough heroes with personal tragedies (read: all of them) that any time we can get a well adjusted, normie superhero, I’ll take it.

Prime’s 1/3 Poison Ivy statue is going up for preorder this week. :rock I’m a little scared to see the price, but maybe they’ll surprise me.

Sorry guys, I was tied up with work and ended my month with my mom having a simultaneous asthma and heart attack, which was unexpected because she was healthy as a horse before. I was at the hospital with her all week and she made a miraculous recovery and was discharged last night.

Nothing jolts you up more than being an inch away from the end of everything. I'm just happy I'm back home and and rant about how much DC sucks again. :lol
