So far, this is the most relaxed Monday I've had in a long time. "Knock on wood" that nothing changes the rest of the day.

Better add some figures to your cart in case it spirals into mediocrity, just to be safe. :lecture

Haha, just watched that this weekend. That's Zod during spooktacular contests.

I have one of the 89 Superman figures MOC. Damn nostalgia makes me spend way too much money. You can pick one up in decent shape on Ebay for around $30 fo Supes, Batman is around the same price and most of the others are cheaper.

$30 for MOC or loose? I'm really wanting a loose and MOC supes. Batman always had a silly looking derp face. But I loved the 1989 supes fig.

I've seen MOC for Supes around that price. Loose is around $15 depending on the quality.

Batman does look good! I'm just not a fan of murdering Batman. But I did think that Ben did a good job.

I predict that's going to be the first Hot Toys figure in a while to really skyrocket in price and stay there on the aftermarket. Regret not preordering now.

I'm really glad I have this one ordered. It's absolutely perfect.

It's still available on Sideshow's site. Hot Toys Deadpool I know you'll have to deal with possibly crazy shipping and customs charges, but it may not be a bad option if the after market price goes crazy.

This wave looks really, really good. There have been some quality control issues with some figures, but these may be the turning point the line needs for collector's not worrying about them breaking or bad paint.

I can't believe I'm going to get out of work today not having been aggravated by normal Monday nonsense. Makes me wonder if the rest of the week will be tougher than normal to make up for it.

The latest BTAS wave is such a step up in quality to the earlier waves, it is almost like a different line of figures. That Gordon is the standout though - perfection.

I haven't picked any of these up yet but that Gordon is really tempting. I like the look of their Michael Ironside DKR figure too...

I'd probably only order through Sideshow for exclusives, and even then it's usually cheaper to just pick them up from Asian resellers. I'll put some money aside, there's a comic shop in the next city over that gets Hot Toys figures in stock and then can never sell them. Granted it'll be a bit overpriced if they have one but still less than the FedEx+customs bilking I'd be hit with through SS.

Alternatively, I could just pick up the Mezco version next year - seems to be the direction my collection's heading in :lol
