Twice the height, for $500 less. That's laughable :lol

It's way beyond my budget for a 1:1, but if I could own anything in that scale... it's got to be an Endo.

It's the one I've always wanted in 1:1 scale. Maybe the only other 1:1 I'd consider would be an Alien, but those take up a lot more space and finding a quality one is difficult.

love to see some pics! :wink1:

I haven't taken any new ones in awhile but here are some from Christmas.

Even though it's the Genisys version, it looks great. I really wish they didn't change some of the components on it for that film, there was nothing wrong with the old school version.

It's funny because people like us are the only ones who would notice. Everyone that's seen it knows it's an endoskeleton but no one has asked which movie it's from. General audience just sees "Terminator". Plus, I think when you're standing in front of it, it's just so cool that it doesn't really matter.

Re: The Fortress at Wayne Manor

Even as kid, I always wanted an Endo toy or something. I was just so in love with the design of a humanoid machine of death. Nowadays the Endo is treated as a joke but back then, it was the stuff of nightmares. The Chronicle full Endo is something I would kill to get (lock the doors, Zod), and guys like Zod should be over the moon for being one of the few lucky ones on earth to be able to afford/order one. It looks absolutely FANTASTIC.

They just felt the need to tinker and fix something that was never broken. The design is 30 years old, and never, ever needed to be updated. I actually find it incredibly that something was so intricately designed to that level in a film in the mid 80s. We have Mechanical Engineer Cameron to thank for that, as well as the Predator design.

The only consolation I could think of is that the new owners didn't have the rights to use the original T-800 design. This happened with TSCC, where the T-800, the theme music, the designs, and heck, the word "Terminator" were not allowed to be used in the show. Yup.

That may be true in that case, but Cameron doesn't have the rights now as their supposed to revert back in due time. Maybe it was just the fanfiction level producers wanting to stir the pot for no ****ing reason.

In the case of Geneshyte, I think everything was a case of bad fan fiction. I've said if before, I really hope Cameron buries the series when the rights revert back, and officially disown the 3 films or give the rights to Josh Friedman, who's the only guy who could do it justice. There's nowhere you can take the franchise anymore except for self-termination.

You never know, he might just turn around and sell the rights back out again since he wasn't above taking a check and promoting that pile of ****. His integrity is gone.

I honestly have ZERO interest in the Avatar films, it was a generic flick and he made a mistake to invest over 10 years of his life on such a mediocre lore. The fact that he sold out by promoting Geneshyte was atrocious and ruins whatever value he has as a filmaker. I guess he had to sell out some day.

Never saw Avatar, and I never had any desire to do so. All those pathetic ****s that had "withdrawal" from the 3D Pandora should swallow a shotgun.
