Looking at the 12" ones, although I bought none, he was the one I was most tempted by. It's a very good face sculpt and as the clothing covers him completely switching to another body for hands and poseability should not e difficult. They didn't have the German officer where I saw the others.

Hasbro said they were releasing seven 12" this year, who are the other two?

They're actually releasing NINE, so there will be four more. One of which will be Col. Dovenchko from KOTCS. But he looks almost as bad as the 12" German Soldier. No word on the other three yet.

Looks like 8/28 is the release date for the next wave of Hasbro 12".

No, he's not that bad. He looks easy enough to make out of available Dragon gear anyway. I think most of those parts are available, and probably better colored and better material.

Gotta wait to see what he really looks like in the film.

I like the Chalice of Kali, Irish-- did you say you think it's 1/6?... Awesome.... Now we just need a 1/6 Mola Ram (although I'm sure that SSC would have the chalice with him as well).

My friendly US Wally-world was restocking the shelves but the Indy stuff still wasn't out-- well they did have all of the Lego stuff (including all of the new stuff) out but I guess I'll have to check back tomorrow to see if wave 2 is on the pegs.

My other 3 Hasbro 12" figures have shipped (Both Indy's and Cairo Swordsman) to go along with the German Solider which isn't that bad for Hasbro. I will will then soon be shipping off what I have to so I can have my Ark.

How does that work exactly? Is there a booklet inside the box somewhere?


So I went to TRU and Target just now. Not much on the shelves, been picked pretty clean. No 12" Cairo Swordsman, just Mutt and German. But as I loaded up my arms with 3" Indy, Cairo Swordsman, Belloq...something came over me. Why do I want these? Why do I need these? I don't. So I walked out, empty-handed. I just can't start the madness all over again. I can't. Not at $9.99 a pop.

As much as I'd love the truck and all those vehicles, and all those little characters, and all those little artifacts... NO! I say NO!

Maybe at Christmas when they're all down to $2.99 a pop in those big TRU wire bins. Then...maybe.

Yes, each one comes with a Redemption Booklet and one ARK sticker. You put 4 stickers in a booklet, fill it out and send it in with a $9.99 check for the Ark. I have one in the mail already.

I don't think there will ever be enough stocked at TRU for that to happen.

Unbelievable how much stuff for SPEED. Two whole walls, an entire corner for the same car in different sizes! Indy and Dark Knight were in this little space near the registers.

I must say though, seeing Indy toys back on the shelf was quite thrilling, and took me back to 1981. But most of the stuff was those squashed "cutesy" figures.

I think Irish may be right and TRU won't be overloaded with Indy stuff for Christmas...but I bet there's still plenty to pick from by then for me. I really only want the classic Raiders Indy for old time sake. And Toht if they make him. And that damn truck. I still have the original 3" scale truck somewhere, and the Well of Souls, and the Streets of Cairo.

Seriously? I bought 5 figures and none of them had a redemption booklet. WTF?!?
