Wow, I think this ended up looking fantastic! Can't wait to get mine! These pics and the Toht announcement (and I guess the IM maquette as well) made this an awesome newsletter.

It looks fantastic.
The sculpt is a great piece of work. It manages to capture so much of what has been missed in every single other statue or toy for the last 25+ years. The smile and the mischief are there.
People may complain that he looks too dark, but I think it is pretty accurate given the tan Harrison Ford runs around with for the first two films.
The costume is amazing. they really nailed the form and the fit. The jacket looks just right and the pants hang perfectly. Even the weathering on the solidly sculpted hat looks cool.
The whip comes in as one solid sculpted piece, not a starched leather coil as some people may have expected. The revolver is also very well done even if gets hidden in the holster.
The base is great as it ties into Raiders very well. It feels like an incredibly well rounded piece because it is. From the top of the hat to the vines on the base this is one of the best PF pieces if not one of the best Indiana Jones collectibles period.

For one, I am concerned. The sleeves on the jacket look a bit too long.....as well as the shirt on the right hand. Also, the colors on the face look more exagerated and the expression changed a bit. Seems to be a bit more pronounced, the prototype pics seemed the have more of an understated confidence.
Just my thoughts tho......will reserve judgement til I see one that's in someones hands.

So it is actually a different/tweaked sculpt? That will be very frustrating if it is. The proto was perfect. Paint apps I can understand being different but for possibly the most celebrated headsculpt we've seen any changes will be highly disappointing. Proto Aragorn looked perfect, so did Indy.

So what's the general impression on the new Prod Pics? You guys like or no?

I have to say I don't like the harsh lighting in the new pics. Seems like its throwing the colors all off.
Looks pretty much the same, but the jacket material looks thicker -- may be better, just the lighting makes it looks...odd. But it's real leather, right?
I would say my concerns are the paint apps, the jacket, and the red holster (that may be the lighting again).
I'd love to see a close-up of the face. Anyone got HiRes yet?

Yeah, I'm sure the lighting on these photos is throwing it WAY off. The jacket looks 'army green' on my monitor!
We'll have to wait for some solid 'in-hand' pics on this one. Aside from the harsh lighting, it looks really promising to me!

The HiRes do look a lot better than the reg photos I was looking at. Looks to be solid for the most part.
Still bummed I had to let it go.
