And though I know it's sour grapes, it ticks me off that so many are reselling the EXes on eBay (for waaay too much). I want one for ME!

Well couldn't you go ahead and get the regular and then if your waitlist converts within thirty days send it back for a refund? And before you take my suggestion wait for some of the more season veterans to point at any flaws there may be in that plan.

Thanks! I'm gonna wait awhile and see what happens since I can still pick up the regular through other sources. I know it's silly, and I'll probably display Indy with his hat on, but I still want the Ex because you get something extra, and.......well......it's the Ex! It's more special!

Hmm. When I got that waitlist warning email, I called up my dealer and secured the regular edition for a shipment he's getting this coming week.
I did find it strange that they were able to sell out all 4,000 of these. However it is an amazing figure, too. I'd be very upset if I buy the regular one and my EX does end up converting, though. And a lot of people here are saying they cancelled recently. That doesn't sound like a waitlist that is about to close to me.

Maybe they'll flip the cancelled ones themselves on their friends Ebay accounts and make a killing over time...J/K

Where I work there is a very popular product that we don't get in often and when we do we sell out quickly. We always joke we're going to buy the entire stock and charge an outrageous amount for it.
It's even more tempting because people are very rude when we don't have it in stock. I hope my Indy ships tomorrow. I want it by this weekend.

(because I got that "you're not going to get an exclusive off the waitlist" email, too). I've gotten a waitlist conversion before, after I had recieved the letter. although it was for a 12" figure or something. I still have hope.
finally got my tracking notice for the exclusive.

I will say that I'm a bit confused on how they assign the edition #'s to customers. I ordered this within SECONDS of the pre-order going up, and I got #562/1000...... Much higher # than I was expecting

Totally random, most of my lowest numbers have come from dealers.
You won't be disappointed at all. It's a really nice piece. LOTS of material and fabric, and many many little details you'll appreciate
