Well duh, cuz it is the same sculpt, just without the hat. Sad thing is they probably had to pay extra to have the hat grinded off with a dremel!
Crappy exclusive, wait let me guess I can also take of the leather jacket and call it an exclusive as well?
I wonder if this is SSC's way of stopping flippers, cuz aint no one gonna pay extra to get it without the hat. Like others have said like Superman without the S or without a cape, WOW
I don't know PF prices at all...but Indy has a lot of mixed media material plus the rather large base.
Somewhere in the 300's is probably a safe bet.
If it's $299 I'd be shocked...and very, very, very happy.

Based on the Anakin, Aragorn and John Wayne Flying Tigers figures, I'm guessing he will be $299 to $325.

I'm basically going to order it without even looking at the price, but I do hope it doesn't go past $350.

I'll still probably get the exclusive, but the hatless head will likely just stay in the box. What else can you do with it? Just lay it off to one side of the PF?

My guess is the head was sculpted without the hat, and then the hat was sculpted separately and added, so the hatless sculpt probably came first.

Yeah, its the same sculpt I was just simply stating I thought both came out looking nice.
I keep reading crappy exclusive. I'll state it again the point is for those buying it to have something unique that if others want to miss they'll be ok. This fits that bill.
I'm buying the EX so its not stopping me.

This makes me want an exclusive Cairo Indy PF without jacket, new pedestal and gun hand.
Maybe a future Indy will have a gun hand that could be swapped out to this one?

I don't recall a moment like that. I'm not saying its a great exclusive but its something if you want to buy and display your gold, and if you choose to pass your still golden. That's what Exclusives are supposed to do.
The Fett Ex was a real puzzler to me.

I agree that that's the point of an exclusive, but in addition an exclusive should in some way give the collector an opportunity to pose the character in a way that mirrors a screen moment... Grievous with or without cape... Leia with stormtrooper blaster or her own gun... Luke with or without Gilligan hat... Who would EVER choose to pose their INDY PF sans hat?... The poll (for the moment at least) says it all...
I don't know-- guess I was expecting something cooler.
Saves me some coin anyway.

Well, I think you might be surprised who might or might not. I might at somepoint just for giggles. Probably not but its a nice choice for an option.
2 me its less of a pain than say the Anakin PF which if you want to display Sith Anakin you HAD to buy the Ex.
