The jacket is nothing that should worry anybody IMO.

I agree. Nobody is going to look at it and say, "OMG why is his jacket so short?!" I wouldn't have even considered it if I hadn't been reading this thread. The color is a little different, though, since I do think that it seems to vary with the lighting. It looks perfect in my office, but under flash photography (or next to a solid blue wall ;)) it can look greenish.

Seems like quite a bit to get worked up over, you won't see another Indy of this quality (and at this price) from Raiders again ..... ever.

I get to tear mine open tomorrow! :whip

I do hope this is the last and best presentation of Indy :)

I hope I won't be bothered by the short jacket in person... I really do. That is really the only thing that has bugged me about this statue. Everything else is superb. The head sculpt is definitely Ford. Although the paint could be better. :lecture

As I believe others have said, make sure the jacket is pulled up to his neck and that his pants are also pulled up slightly.

I've had mine for several days now and I keep looking over to him (and I say him because it's like having a shrunken down frozen Harrison Ford as INDY!!!!!) even while watching a good flick on the big screen.

People, IMHO, have overreacted to an extreme nature concerning the jacket.

Well my brother finally got his Indy yesterday and we're both extremely impressed with it. Even though I say it's his, it's technically both of ours since we live together and we pool our money together to help each other out with our collectibles. Indy has officially become his grail, while the Anakin PF is mine, but even Indy is close to Anakin for me since I love the character so much myself. I'll hopefully be able to get pics up within the next couple days, even though there's been plenty put up already. And I might have to start a thread showing off our collection since it's slowly but surely starting to grow.

I figured I'd take a few quick pics for right now. Sorry about the flash, I know it washes out his face, but like I've said before the lighting sucks in my living room. I plan on taking more pictures outside as I've done with my other statues in the next couple days hopefully. I tried to futz with his jacket to get it a little longer, but it wouldn't go down much more. Honestly though it doesn't bother me or my brother in the least. I also put a couple hard candies in his bag to give it a little bulge, don't know if it's noticeable or not. Anyway expect better pics soon....

Yeah I figured everyone would look straight at the music, don't worry about the pics of Indy. :lol Honestly though, some of those we've had for years, and some are my parents from way back when, like Aladdin for instance. You guys actually pointed out cd's I completely forgot I even had, let alone listen to. Way to analyze a picture though, you guys crack me up. :lol

Nice pics Havok, looks great! Can't wait until I get my exclusive.

Noticed you have Aragorn in the background. Is there any chance you could take a picture of Aragorn and Indy next to each other? I'd love to see how these screen 'heroes' look together.

Thanks!
