Well, my blasted camera is on the fritz and blowing thru batteries faster than I can charge them, but.... I figured i'd try and get a few shots taken while I could. Sorry for the quality on some, it suffered from my rushing.

Funny thing is, that Dragon Mel head was supposed to be my Punisher. Thats what he was before I sent him to DA for a proper painting. Of course, I neglected to tell Josh I needed a five o'clock shadow on him. I unwrapped him and immediately saw I had flubbed big time and that my vision would not work with a "neat" Frank. Then I dropped the head and it bounced over next to my Batman.....voila! Instant Bruce Wayne realization.
I'll get more [and better] pix up soon. It just got crazy with the Holidays and going back to work and all. Some really great DA work yet to come. Too late for 2006 figure of the year [sorry ] but early enough to get a jump on 2007!!!

I actually have a few more "V" figures in the works. I'll probably wait until my Michael Ironside gets properly painted and post them all at once.
Too many projects, too little time. And being as I can't paint like DA or Mikey or Les I am relegated to wait longer to complete my projects. And I'm tying them all into one HUGE photostory!!!
I have been dallying with my own way to paint some simple characters though. They are forthcoming as soon as the costumes get sorted out and completed.

great stuff. especially love the Nick Fury! is that a Johnny West Capt. Maddox headsculpt used for ole Nick?? it's gotta be because it has that Robert Conrad/Jim West look going on. Conrad makes a great Fury.

Yes thats a Maddox redo as Fury. I had used several differing heads but finally settled with that one. I had been trying to assemble enough of those suits to make all the key S.H.I.E.L.D. characters but, unfortunately, fell miserably short. I'll have to try for a better pic, but you can see part of the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo on Fury's left arm.

Anyway, really cool stuff here Ironman. Definitely not your run of the mill collection. Great paints by DA, and I love that Joker.

Yes, Josh did a wonderful job on both the Joker and Punisher. He did several others that I am still assembling. Hopefully, I'll have a camera that will cooperate long enough to photograph them all.
I'm working on fine tuning the Punisher to where i want him and getting just the right arsenal for him as well as a decent set of wheels for him.
Apes....maybe a few one day. Right now they have their own thread and this one is for ALL the rest.
