Oh these are all just wonderful! I love the classic Trek figures in particular. Where the heads native to the bodies or did you crate them yourself?

I also adore your Capt Jack. May I ask where you got his boots and pants from? Also, Is he on a Sideshow body?

The TV Trek, well, actualy ALL of them, are made with homemade uniforms. The heads for Kirk and Spock are from HeroHeads. McCoy's comes from an AMT/Ertl model kit. The pahsers are from the Playmates 9" figures. Strangely,
Playmates has the license for the new Trek film even though they couldn't make decent figures or appropriately scaled accessories for their last 1:6 run.

Wow!! Talk about a delayed response!!
Captain Jack, who's undergoing a head transplant, got his pants from a Sideshow Renfield figure. The boots were in one of my parts bins and, yes, for now, he is on a Sideshow body.
Plenty more on the way. I have heads coming to complete many figures and many more (over 50) that haven't even been addressed yet.
:idea I have got to learn to paint!!

And begin painting I have!!
Here's just some of the tip of the iceberg that I am working on:

Ironman--I didn't realize you had a customs page!! I completely missed it. You have a wide variety there buddy. I only recognize a handful of the very obvious characters...but that's just because I am not aware of most things outside of Ape City. Glad to see you have taken up the brush.

Thanks Jess!!
The painting is much harder to get the way I want than I had hoped but it is quite rewarding.
Lots of new stuff forthcoming!!

Well I posted these to lackluster response in the Joe area but thought I'd add them in here:
I was playing around awhile ago with some vintage Joe and Action Man stuff and started thinking about brining them into an updated state. Then I saw Elvis' and Mando's great work and was gonna chuck it all but decided to give it a try anyway.
While not of their caliber, here are my WIP versions of varying degrees of Joe/AM characters.
Anyone recall the old Captain Zargon?

Well, I decided on him as my first update:

Afterwards I moved to RAH characters that I really wanted to have in my collection:

I like your Capt Scarlet and friends. The Hot Toy heads work really well.

A few years back I rescued this Pedigree Capt at a Toy show for $20.
He was missing some paint on his hair and eyebrows and had blue marker on his body and face. With a little Clearasil, some paint and a new uniform, I am proud to have this vintage collectable in my possession.
Definitely one of my best bargains.
