I'll just put my obvious two cents in- Hells yeah, I'd love to see a jean grey pf! I still am surprised we havent gotten one yet!

Me too. I dont know what Sideshow has been waiting for. But on the other hand, I'm glad they waited since the sculpting work has gotten alot better. But we need atleast a "Its being worked on right now" status.

Jean Grey in her original Marvel Girl costume is a little less likely (for now), unless we were to do a team-up of classic X-Men, which is entirely possible."

I absolutely hate when they do the "fresh" interpretation thing before the classic costumes because that is not what the bulk of fans are requesting. Just like the classic Captain America, classic Spiderman, classic Hulk, and Wolverine costumes, the classic Phoenix costume is popular and requested for a reason. Also, there are NO statues out there that represent the classic Jean Grey/Phoenix/Dark Phoenix in the quality and detail that only Sideshow can provide.

Just do an expected version from one of those great art pieces that people have already showcased. :x

As it stands it seems like they want to do the BAH! line first in 1/5 scales because if the PF comes out that smaller line won't sell as well and they can't double up on characters (i.e. Mystique, She-Hulk, Black Cat PF all coming after the BAH! line). So maybe they are waitinggonna do the 1/5 scale first like Psylocke before they do the 1/4 scale PF version.

So the BAH! version is probably their 'unexpected' version.

Yep, I know this. The "fresh" interpretation scares me. Just give me a classic PF or Com and after that, they can design her with an all edible chocolate outfit.

Well I think Mystique is the best one in the line and she's huge and goes with my PFs!

I'll skip anything 1/5 and wait for the 1/4.

When they say interpretation do they mean a pose or a total interpretation? I just want her in the realistic style of the PFs and hopefully not some out there REinterpretation. There's plenty of cool poses in this thread for a pf, a comiquette and a legendary bust! C'mon Sideshow. Please.

I couldn't agree more. I was really surprised how long it took to get the classic Spidey comiquette. It feels like these classic characters in their original form, wouldve been the first statues ever released by the SS Marvel line. i think the Green Goblin was the very first, and I was a little surprised back then as to why he was the first. I mean, its cool that they are trying new things, and trying to get to as many Marvel characters showcased as possible, but theres still so many beloved characters missing! And so many others with multiple statues. that has never made a lot of sense to me.

True that. Jean as Phoenix is legendary, iconic. She needs a comiquette, PF, and legendary scale bust just like Black Cat or Rogue. I wish I would have made the poll longer, but I didn't expect it would take THIS long.

I'm really dreading this fresh interpretation thing, unless they mean the pose. If that's the case there's plenty of "interpretations" in this very thread. Get the ball rolling SS! Here are a couple more.
