Well, this could be reallly good news. BUT...unless they give us a classic Phoenix/Dark Phoenix, Jean Grey (skirt), or Jim Lee Jean Grey, it will be a failure. I am with everyone else in that I really don't want them to some "new interpretation" crap with her.

However, it looks like they are going with more modern looks with their comiquette line, so hopefully it will be Jean Grey as she appeared here:

I'd buy BOTH. I'm a HUGE Jean Grey fan and would almost buy her in any incarnation.

Based on the other SS releases though we are most likely getting Jim Lee Jean Grey (to go with all those 90s X-Men like the previewed Cyclops, gambit and Sabretooth) or Jean's classic Phoenix costume which she's worn through various periods from the 80s, in the late 90s and early 2000.

I think her Phoenix costume would work really well though for a PF and a lsb.

Either way I want a BIG flaming phoenix base.
