Thanks Ryan! He's about 92% complete. I just need to get the Hunting Rifle, which isn't available yet and the game accurate bow I'm having commissioned by a fellow freak.

I do plan to make a custom "Shorty" shotgun.

Are you doing the weathering yourself? Joel didn't had any torn fabrics in the game did he?

I will weather eventually, I'm just scared to since I've never attempted it aside from the filter on my gas mask. He didn't have any tearing but his clothes looked dirty and beat up.

There is a few freaks that are going to be doing Joel and Ellie custom commissions.

EDIT I ordered the shotgun I'm going to use to make the Shorty. It will just need some cutting, rearranging of the barrel and a complete paintjob. I think I will get it by Tuesday and I can knock it out in one day probably.

If you find a decent hunting rifle (I've yet to find one myself) can you post the link to it?

Thats the one thing keeping me from weathering his clothes too. I will weather his mask, pack, and modify my flashlight eventually.

I've really been enjoying the Multiplayer quite a bit - going for my 4th twelve week completion......I really like the fact that a team has to work together to some degree, or it goes badly quickly.

I'm on Week 9 of my fifth journey, and I have to admit that it's finally started to become tedious. I just want that skull mask. :/

Thanks man. I got a small pump action shotgun, took the pump off and I had to do a lot of cutting. I had to cut the rear of the receiver off and sand it down a bit with a file. I had to cut the barrel off completely and then cut off a section for the actual Shorty. It took a lot of work to get a color I could stay with. I was going to keep it just gray but it didn't look right, so I went through so many variants that I got the idea from my girlfriend to mix some metallic paint with it to give it a light shimmer since it is almost a stainless finish in game. I also had a spare M4 magazine which I cut to size to put under the receiver since the Shorty has a mag.

Without a doubt, it was the biggest pain in the *** project for Joel thus far.

This was the original shotgun.

That was pretty cool but I'm ok with the ending they did. I prefer to do something rather than just end with a long cinematic.
