Joel is the best character I've played as in awhile. Very well done character development and not one moment makes him what he is by the end of the game. Same goes for Ellie. She never felt like another dead weight character, the only restriction with her was her size to Joel but she's only 14 so that's to be expected.

I'm on my 2nd playthrough and she found rifle rounds and brought them to me, first time for that one.

She did that for me on my first playthrough. The one big thing i loved about this was the facial animation, so much more emotion came across even more so than LA noire which felt forced. I also mentioned before that the way joel sheilds ellie when in cover next to each other, i thought that was a nice little touch too.

I think from the ending we will see more of them, but in the next game we might continue with them but have other characters branching off from them. I wonder if co-op will be an option.

I actually wouldn't like Coop in this, i think it benefits from the immersion that single player brings. Besides all my mates are tools when it comes to online lol. They would ruin the moment

I've never seen such stellar animated emotion in any medium. I would say it's almost historic in how they did it.

I loved it, i loved how much fear or doubt, or concern you could see from their face. Ellie had some great facial animation too, especially the scene where she says ''who say im not afraid'' some great animation there its actually in one of the trailers too.

I can honestly say i have not talked about or praised a game this much for a VERY long time. Nor have i wanted to replay a game straight after beating it. I cannot wait to see the DLC and what naughty dog bring to the ps4.

For DLC i'd actually like to see

Season fillers, the jump from summer to fall and fall to winter the gaps in between i'd like to see or even spring while they are in Tommy's town. I actually think the ending could bring more in terms of DLC or even sequel when watching it again, maybe the fireflies come for Ellie and they have to move for the safety of Tommy's town etc etc.

TLOS is amazing, but Beyond Two Souls is going to give it a fight for GOTY.

Is Beyond Two Souls a game this time? I mean this in all sincerity, cause as cool as the last one was, I'd barely call it a game: traditional or otherwise. More interactive movie

Did the menu selection noises remind anyone of Silent Hill? lol but I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Played for a while, it's really great, and I find myself just standing around and taking my time in each area. Oh and I didn't realize I had to shake my controller to charge my flashlight, I was completely confused by the little icon that popped up.

I might try to take some pics of my statue too, it's a lot better than I thought it would be.

I bought the post pandemic edition and it's a very nice statue but for the extra 110 dollars I think it's a bit overpriced honestly. if it had come with the art book as well I think the price might be warranted.

The statue is very nice though. It's only about 8" tall, the paint is well done and clean, the sculpt is quite good, it was made from a digital print, I believe.

I'm happy to have the statue because I really liked the game and the characters but I would suggest not paying 250+ dollars for it and wait for project triforce to release the statue by it self, or wait for the ebay inflation to die down. I'm sure you will be able to get the statue by itself for cheaper once the madness cools down.

Yeah me too, that was my biggest disappointment with it. If it had actually been 12" I would say it would have been worth the price but unfortunately not.

I think the only statue I've got from a special edition of a video game that was actually 1/6 is from the gears of war 3 epic edition.
