Re: 'The Last of Us' - new IP from Naughty Dog

Typical **********s.

Yeah, I told them, 'it would be nice if you had a spine, and stuck to your guns,' and asked them, 'when you said you were holding it for me, you should have told me it was conditional!"

LOL, frustrating more than anything. Gonna avoid that store a bit - they are not professional about the way they handle things.

Every employee I've ever encountered at that place are as dumb as a bag of hammers. They try to push their power points card on you like a crack dealer.

I've stopped shopping at GameStop for 4 going on 5 years now. The employees were not very friendly and treated me like I was going to steal something every time I would go in.

They don't get my money anymore.

That's their job. Some are a bit more obnoxious about it than others. I've met plenty of smart Gamestop employees. They just work for a crappy company.

Why did they think that?

Re: 'The Last of Us' - new IP from Naughty Dog

Not necessarily. There were no hunters in Salt Lake City from the look of it.
.

True? But they're probably there too, like everywhere else. But im just generalizing. There's wild dogs, monkeys, deer, ect...and they're eating other humans (TR rip). Dosen't make much sense, guess they were going for 'shock' factor. You would think clickers would have helped wipe out the animals as well, since they attack everything that's not infected.

Well... you never know. Although Joel's neighbor did kill the barking dog outside in the beginning. Maybe the herd just happen to never run across any infected? Hard to believe I know. Maybe the herd was attacked and they lost a few.

...for over 20 years, really?

It's just hard to grasp on either end. TheInfected attack based on noise, and sight. i don't think it was explained why they don't attack each other either? Is there a pheromone?

with the Hunters, maybe they should have been under the influence of a drug or two.Trying to find a way to escape the horrid reality they were delt. Thus altering the way they think.

IMO one of the best games I have ever played. I could go on about why I effin love this game so much.... but I hate writing paragraphs. 10/10 for sure

Re: 'The Last of Us' - new IP from Naughty Dog

I'm on my way to the Capitol. ****ing clickers, maaaaan. By far the most intense game I've ever played.

Animals are more aware and also faster than humans. A giraffe could easily outrun a clicker and so could a dog. I don't think animals have problems with the infected. Only if they were surrounded.

Just started playing this last night...just left the quarantine zone. There is just so much detail around I can't help but stop to take a look around which ironically breaks the immersion. It's just such a wste to zip through the rooms etc.

Same here, man. From the start, I was all about exploration, but the combat situations, be they human or otherwise, create a sense of urgency that really influences you to explore every nook and cranny of the world, not just out of curiosity, but out of desperation. Currently, I have my handgun and a revolver, and they're both full of ammunition, yet I still haven't fired a single shot except for during the scripted shoot outs and to remedy a few "accidents" on the game AIs part. Maybe I shouldn't overestimating the game's difficulty and I'm being to frugal with it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'll say this, though. I think this is the first time I've ever actually quit a game and decided to take a break because it was too intense to keep going. I can't wait to dive back in, but **** is it stressful.:lol

I completely agree. I am taking it all in as well. Would seem a real shame to try rush this epic journey.

:lol

I am doing the same. I keep taking little breaks because of the intensity, but then within an hour or so I am busting to get back on it again :)

Yeah, I'm in the museum again. When I saw that I was going to have to sneak past more clickers, my reaction was...well...**** it, he can explain it better than I can:

I didn't think the "our true enemy has not yet shown his face" bit was relevant, but the heart attack sure was.:lol
