Dunno if this has been posted before, but the music in this game is indeed a big chunk of the experience and Santaolalla is a really well versed composer.

I've finally had some time with this game over the last week. Incredible experience. There's a lot of common zombie genre tropes going on, but they're done so well, that it doesn't bother me. I just got to the "winter" portion. I love the solitary atmosphere of the beginning of this particular segment.

I've finally had some time with this game over the last week. Incredible experience. There's a lot of common zombie genre tropes going on, but they're done so well, that it doesn't bother me. I just got to the "winter" portion. I love the solitary atmosphere of the beginning of this particular segment.

Winter is definitely the most depressing of the seasons. I swear they based some of the BGM from "The Thing."

I finished my Survivor + playthrough today. I'm just missing the "Hunter" and "For emergencies only" trophies, so I'll be starting an Easy + file for the latter. I need one more upgrade for the bow and a few for the first two guns. Hopefully I won't have to play for too long.

Bizarrely, the trophy for obtaining every collectible popped before I had even managed to do that. The rest of the collectible trophies hadn't unlocked, either.

The ending of Winter is very heinous and shows the mental damage the outbreak has caused people.

Winter destroyed my soul and then the end of summer was very sad as well to. There's an Easter egg I found while going to Tommy's . Before you get to the gate there is a small path with a tent and a grave at the bottom. If you press triangle Joel and Ellie have a small argument about the events that occurred during the summer.

I found that too. You can find the toy robot in her backpack in Winter too.

I didn't even go through her backpack until like my 5th playthrough, it didn't even occur to me.
