I didn't even go through her backpack until like my 5th playthrough, it didn't even occur to me.

Today was the first time I checked it, and that was only after I discovered that it contains artifacts from a guide.

I found that too. You can find the toy robot in her backpack in Winter too.

Oh about that..you can notice ellie pick up that robot on the shop.. she just goes and stand in front on it but once you move your camera away she picks it up off screen then joins sam and henry immediately...

Did you like the ending? I thought it was a perfect conclusion, some people don't.

Bitter sweet, but yes, I liked it.

They went for the "artistic" ending and I dig it. It really showed how strong their relationship grew in that Ellie trusts Joel and Joel would do anything to keep Ellie safe.

Joel is ****ing brutal btw...damn. He seems to have come to terms with this world and knows exactly how to survive it. I want to go through again to really get a handle on these characters.

It's got **** loads of replay value. Multiplayer is heinously hard.

I had to wait a couple days for the emotions to wash out before I could start a new game

Yup. I finished the game on Sunday, and still trying to wrap my head around the awesome ending. I'll probably complete some other games on my backlog first before I get back to this one.

Today, I amassed enough parts to carry out the final few upgrades for Joel's weapons. I was in Pittsburgh (just after the hotel basement) on my fourth playthrough (though nothing carried over from my first one since I jumped straight to Survivor). Now I just need the "Hunter" trophy for the Platinum. Online's very fun, though somewhat repetitive, so it's not too bad. I'm on Week 3 at the moment.

The amount of detail in the game is just astounding. I didn't know you can watch as Ellie takes the robot but Sam and Henry and Joel have to have there back turned. She takes it so quickly .

I just finished it tonight.

It was definitely a worthwhile experience.

The one thing that bugged me though, was that final section, once you have to rescue Ellie, that hallway with the two guards with flashlights, and a bunch of patrolling guards in the rooms around. It was a very tense moment, like "Oh ****, I need to rescue Ellie NOW", but I kept getting caught and killed, and it got frustrating, so I just stopped playing. It just kinda ruined that moment. The tense feeling was lost, and then when I picked it back up again, I lost that feeling of urgency. And of course, I breezed through that section on my first try.

I purposely dont read this thread because of all the spoilers. Its like everyone assumes that everyone has completed the game. I havent beaten it yet. Havent had time. This game is excellent. I dont want to know what happens before i get to see. Im sure people know how to put a spoiler alert button.

I've had the game since release and just beat it yesterday. I think I opened this thread once through that entire time. It's wise to just stay out. It's been out over a month. It's your own fault at this point.
