Re: 'The Last of Us' - new IP from Naughty Dog

I got stuck for awhile with a nude Joel figure for awhile so I was bored :lol

This was like a week after that :rotfl

I'm still waiting for figures of this game.

Finished my Rambo bow modification. Went pretty well, picking up the paints tomorrow to put this thing to bed.

Re: 'The Last of Us' - new IP from Naughty Dog

I'm about six hours in and this game is amazing in all regards! My only complaint is that I get a bit of motion sickness and due to that I get disoriented most of the time.

I've never fired a weapon aside from one mandatory shooting section, I hope this is normal. :lol

The surround sound in this game is insanely good, and I can slip past the Clickers with ease due to the channel placement.

All in all I can't wish for a better gaming experience, I'm just beyond the bit where Joel gets ambushed in his car & I hope it gets better than it already is!

The Last of Us Getting Free Update, Sharp New Multiplayer Mode

When I reviewed The Last of Us earlier this year, I may not have given its multiplayer portion enough credit. The stripped-down deathmatches were enjoyable enough at the time, but the more I play, the more fun I have. And with a coming free update, the whole thing is gonna get bigger, more tactical, and much more knife-centric.

Up top is a video with Naughty Dog taking a look at the coming 1.03 update for The Last of Us, the most sizable update since the game's release. (The post was age-gated at Sony's request as a term for us sharing it.) There'll be a number of tweaks to balance the multiplayer game and iron out some rough spots (hooray interruptible execution animations), but the most notable addition is an entire new multiplayer mode called "Interrogation," which adds a large dose of tactical play to the game's otherwise straightforward deathmatches.1P

In Interrogation, both teams have to defend a safe filled with supplies. To locate your opponents' safe, you'll have to hold defeated enemy players still and interrogate them instead of killing them, which leaves you open to attack. If your team gathers enough intel, you'll have a chance at rushing and cracking the other team's safe, which turns the game into an assault/point-defense sort of thing.P

Not bad for a free update. Now how about that inevitable co-op horde mode where we fight waves of zombies? Just saying!

Re: 'The Last of Us' - new IP from Naughty Dog

Very cool, thanks

Update - patch out now. Interrogation is decent - variant of a theme but new modes are good!

Am I the only one getting mild motion sickness from playing this excellent, excellent game? I've never had motion sickness before but this and the new Tomb Raider game seems to make my eyes hurts. There's no option to slow down the camera either, it's too fast.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to tough it out but seems like I'll be skipping the sightseeing.

I dont have motion issues, but will say that I feel too close to the tv, even when sitting 10 ft away - its weird......

You're not alone. I to get a little sick when playing. But iirc there is a way to slow down the aim/camera speed. I did it for TR and this game as well. Been awhile since I've played it so I'm not sure where the option is located. Try check from the main menu screen?
