That is Awesome! I wish I had the time and patience to put one together!

P.S. Just sent link to wife for possible Christmas present!

That is really cool... so can you play the downloaded game? I downloaded it and it just keeps going through the intro stuff. But I can't seem to get anything playable to start?

This one was a the bottom of my rainy day films when i was a kid preferd star wars, legend, krull and willow. But i was always hoping that this kind of thing would happen to me with super mario or star fox.

I think it is only for this special type of arcade maching. I am home from work now and plan on investigating.

Crap, figured that might be the case. Let me know what you find out... cause it looks badass, I'd love to actually play it :monkey2:monkey2

Those are great Iroman, thanks for sharing :rock

I loved those record books when I was a kid... don't think I had one for Last Starfighter though. I would love to get at least one figure with the pilot outfit, those were a great design.

It says you should be able to play it on PC. I downloaded it and get an error whenever I try to start it. :monkey2

Him, it starts on mine... but I can't get it to stop going through the intro stuff. It says insert coin, but there is no coin slot on my computer :monkey2

Grab a glass jar and a few quarters. Drop some change into the jar while holding it next to your CPU. Might work. You think? :lol

Seriously though. I was all excited today to come home and try this and I can't get it to work. :monkey2

There is hope!!!

I went back and after reading a review on a different site I found out how to use it on a PC. You hit the 5 key to enter coins, and then press space. Arrow keys move you around, space fires and 1 changes the weapon.

Game is hard as hell though, probably be a lot easier with a joystick... but man is it cool to play Starfighter :rock

Oh man, I gotta try that game. I just bought the Last Starfighters collector edition DVD on ebay now that I'm all jazzed about the movie.

Actually getting the hang of the game now. You can use the mouse as well. Right now I'm using the arrow keys to direct the ship, but you can also use the mouse at the same time to move your target around. The right click fires and left click changes weapons.
