I've got a few games I want to finish before purchasing this...which means on the Christmas list it goes!!! :lol :rock

I definitely will get this though. It's Zelda...C'mon. How can you NOT get this?

Just picked mine up. Haven't had a handheld since the one before the DS.....SP i think it was

If they had a gold coated physical version they would have sold even more than they have for the small cost to them of making it gold.

I would've bought one.

Any thoughts on this from those who have played?

Just beat Pokemon Y today. Need to finish Donkey Kong Country Returns....then Zelda will be up next, most likely.

An employee at Walmart handed me one to try today. It was pretty awesome actually! Tight controls, great visuals, good sound. Liked everything about it there.

It's a great addition to the Zelda line. Not sure how's it a sequel though since it doesn't appear to be after a Link to the Past but it's a great Zelda game so far.

I'm probably around 3/4th done with the game and so far it's by far one of the best Zelda games in the entire series (played them all except the unspeakable ones on CD-I). I'd rank it as good as Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past, and better than the recent ones.

Controls are super tight, graphics are amazing, sound is even more amazing, the story is really interesting (for a Zelda game), tons of cute references to previous games (mostly LTTP and OOT but a few cameos from other games too).

Also, the boss battles are exceptionnally fun, and the fact that you can do dungeons in any order you like (mostly) is awesome. Zelda games from now on will have to have a few of the features from this game because they are very welcome additions to the franchise (especially the "magic" bar for using items instead of using actual ammunition).

I never even played Link to the Past. So I take it I don't need to play any previous installments to understand what's going on? (ie Is it a standalone game?)

Other than the same map i can't see where it connects to the previous game....it's for sure a stand alone game though.

Ordered one for my father because he likes it to and has a DS. I really liked it to but only played them all on the nes, snes and n64
