Wow, the lack of anything relevant to good conversation in your posts never ceases to amaze me.

It's not just him. Whenever somebody makes a post about Baseball, somebody has to chime in and say how it sucks. I guess some people can't just *not* post.

As for this list, I don't think there will be any surprises.

AFAIK, the only current Brewer on there is Eric Gagne and the only ex-Brewer on there is Gary Sheffield (but that sorry excuse for a human being doesn't count) so my boys in blue seem to be in the clear.

edit: I just noticed BadMoon's list. Is that the whole thing? I thought it'd be bigger...

is this the official list, because the local sports talk radio was talking to Eric Andrews and she said ESPN and some websites had an early list that was incorrect.

So Bonds lied to us.....how surprising.

Well this list is based on very circumstantial evidence. Do I think that most of them did something yes but is there creditable evidence, no. The whole list is based around basically 3 sources, the trainer and the clubhouse guy who both are being investigated by feds (probally would say anything to help them with the feds) and were forced by the feds to talk to Mitchell and the Balco info. There was at least one person who was accused by another player on the list saying he told me he did it once or twice. As nice as is to see these names come up it kinda a BS investigation. They were lucky the feds made the two talk to Mitchell even when the Feds overstepped the bounds by making them do this or they would have had nothing.

it is going to be interesting to see how many players file law suits because their name was on the list. of course if the feds are involved it might not be a good idea, I can't imagine they would let the names be public without some decent evidence proving their case. i haven't read it but i'm sure many attorneys reviewed the report before it was released and their is some verbiage citing what it is based on.

From what I read it was not like this guy did steroids period, it was more of this is the story on this guy. Most of is hearsay but its written that way so I am not sure how much of a leg they have to stand on, plus if they try to take this to court they better be 100% clean or its coming out that they didn't. They may be able to sue the person that said that but still they are opening themselves up big time. The thing is EVERY single one of these players were given the option to talk to Mitchell and just about every one turned him down. I mean if your innocent why wouldn't you talk to him.

My Favorite so far is the fact that Clemens says he never failed a test so he couldn't have done steroids, since when he was injected with regular steroids it was 98 and HGH on 2000 and the first test in baseball was in 2002 or 2003.

I think of the lower tier players will probably just not say anything and let it go away. No one is going to remember them next week, the big names are the ones who are going to have lots to say I think.

NOT GAGNE! Oh say it ain't so!

We used to go to Dodger games all the time and the biggest thrill was speculating during the early innings if the 'Beast would be unleashed.' People in LA would actually stick around to the end of the game to see him pitch, and that in and of itself was something special.

If this list is proved to be true, what a bunch of douche bags.

It's funny, Gagne went from a below-average starter/mid-reliever to the cy young award winning closer, now I'm sure he'll be below-average; I wonder what caused that jump ?????
