I don't see them doing a Shelob. Too many other unique characters to tap, plus the WETA one only goes for about 1/3 of its original price so not a good sign.

I agree that the odds of SS doing Shelob are not very high. Just a fool's hope...

The SSW's Shelob is not a good statue, that is why its value is quite low. If SS or Weta decided to do a really good low edition Shelob, I think it could retain or increase its value in the long run. IMO a Middle Earth fun would be drawn to a good Shelob, reminiscent of Ungoliant, statue.

Well, let's say it's not one of their best. More importantly, it does not do the character justice. What I mean is that Shelob is much more important than, for example, the cave troll and IMHO should have a statue at least of the same magnificence.

It's a good creature statue. It may not be one of the best of that line but it's a good piece all the same IMO.

I for one would LOVE a Cave Troll-sized Shelob. The only reason I held off on the SS/Weta version was that it was simply too small and didn't do justice to Shelob's importance and power. It was a well-executed statue, but should have been much larger, in my opinion.

Ah, that's what i thought you meant.... i wouldn't say it's a BAD statue, it just needed to be larger. I don't think you worded it correctly!

As well as bigger i would have liked her to be perched over a rock like the iconic moment we saw her above Frodo.... or with her fighting Sam. Sideshow should have done a diorama of that.

One of my dream collectibles would be a 1/6 diorama of Sam with Sting fighting Shelob. The sear size and magnificence of this piece gives me chills!

Even if it wasnt 1/6 scale, just a bigger more detailed Shelob would be awesome. Maybe like someone else wrote the size of the Snow Troll sideshow produced

Only if she hunched up in a ball...no way is she only 12 ft long...12 ft tall maybe...but not long...The older SSW statue was and still is a beautiful piece...nice base too...they made alot so it could be gotten cheaply...I've seen these go for under 100 for a while...great price for a lovely spider statue
