The SideShow one is much more detailed bodie. But considering this one is 400 shy of SideShow's version... I would go with the Bowen.

yeah, definately not even close in detail and quality (which remains to be seen if ssc holds this one together) but for the price a no brainer:cool:

$500 .......... i'm still in shock, and will be until i have to pay for the Bomb. then i'll think it's ok.:lol

can we safely say the es may very well be below 100, making it the first marvel piece in sometime to stay below that mark.

If i'm wrong in saying that i'm sure someone will corrrect me
Has Sideshow ever made a comiquette that is available on their site AND to retailers with an ES of 100? I am thinking more along the lines of 300-400.

:banghead oops my bad. forgot about them pesty lcs's, and the fact there is no ex. verision either. i thinks i need to go to bed, not thinking straight.:google

This thing is awesome...but too much $$$ for me. Guess I'll have to be happy with my Marvel Legends version.....$7.99!

500 for this and abomination is a joke. SideShow is just cashing in on the fact that these can go for insane prices on ebay.

Hulk... A-list character. Weighs over 40 lbs. Beautiful sculpt. Monsterous. Retailed for 325 in 2007. Two years later these PFs are fetching 500 and aren't characters that only the most comic savvy nerds know of... that's some crazy inflation.

Not impressed.

AS far as I know, inflation has nothing to do with the character choice, but more with material costs, labor costs, exchange rates and the like, but please do correct me if I'm wrong in my thinking...

Maybe not a comiquette, but life-size busts... yes.

more people will order then you think... they'll dive up the ES (600) and then bail... which actually SS deserves for making it TBA and $500!!!

Thats exactly what will happen..

500 bucks?.. Dude, out of control..

Sideshow's recent out of control prices...

IM 1:1 at 700... Joke especially w/ the large ES
Abom at 500 ... Joke. Especially w/ the large ES
Manthing... 500 Joke.. ES TBD which Im sure will be too high..

All three of these should have been maybe $350..

On a side note sweet scuplt.. But 500?..

Id love to see this in person , the detail looks incredible, Im not even into the character but its huge, detailed, and the eyes light up. Just wish it was 200 bucks cheaper. Theres always Ebay, but for some reason I forsee this peice having such a low ES it may skyrocket.

man....how cool would that thing be if it weren't cut off at the knees like that! :(

It would be 2 feet tall and much more expensive. I like that he's moving through the swamp. There aren't many characters that you could cut him off like that and make it work. He'll be easier to display this way too.
