Interesting that it?s being posted before the show even releases. I?d definitely have to watch it first and see what the deal with his change of armor is before preordering this one.

Ok some of you are just stuck in one gear if you still can't see or think beyond that, you are a lost cause.

A lost cause. LOL. I am wondering who you are and how you are holding a very value of yourself to tell that about other collectors.

That is really amazing how people on boards can be so self-assured behing their keyboard but turning into chicken nerd when you meet them.

Tomorrow preorder I would imagine. There have been so few SW character designs I have liked since Disney took over. But this is so good, maybe second only to Krennic.

Just noticed he comes with swap out Beskar shoulder armor. I'm sure V2 will come with exclusive swap out thigh armor, before we see the final form figure.

Looks like the shoulder pad is replaceable. Wonder if they will add more pieces as swap out ?

Yup, looks amazing. But since there's this whole unexplained upgraded set of armor that we know nothing about (since the show hasn?t released yet), I'm going to hold off for now. Everything about this figure looks sick though, including the base. Wonder what they?ll do with the other armor varient?s base, hopefully it?s as good.

Yeah I'm holding out hope that there will be just a Deluxe version coming with all the extra chrome pieces. As I'd much rather swap them out now and then than have to pay for two complete figures.

It?s not really a deluxe that interests me personally, more so a completely different figure - like the difference between an Iron Man figure with some battle damaged accessories and an Iron Man figure that?s battle damaged from the ground up. However, if the chrome is only in the first few episodes and actually ages INTO this armor (instead of being an upgrade), this is definitely the one to get.

Interesting how they've solved the hanging rifle on his back. See the strap which pegs into the metal holder. Nice touch. Hope it works OK. I wouldn't be surprised if they integrate a magnet into it like for Dr Strange and his cape so it doesn't rotate at all.

I'd even get this guy just for the stand ! So cool they integrated the pike & Stormtrooper helmet in.

Tattered cape also looks nice.

I would be surprised if there is a deluxe that allows for conversion. HT will almost certainly force the double dip. At the moment I'm only interested in this version but the figure has me more interested in the show now. So have to wait and see. I already know I want the figure shown today based on design alone.

Make sure everyone gives this and IG-11 a like vote on the Hot Toys FB page. It's probably one of their initial measures of a figure/franchise popularity. Just so they get the confidence to make Kara Dune and other figures from this series.

Yeah I can believe that. However for me the chrome is too monotone. I guess that'll get messed up the further we progress, but I definitely prefer the earthy "origin" look. There's just more going on.

Actually, after reading up on the armor in the show, I'm fairly certain one of his goals is to collect enough Beskar to forge a full set of Mandalorian armor. So it'll slowly be turning chrome. Definitely going to have to watch the show before I think about the figure, it all depends on what happens in which armor, and what each represents.

Damn this is going to be a hard one to resist. Personally I prefer this more earth toned, weathered armor versus the more chrome look. The base is also badass with the pike and Stormtrooper helmet.
