I felt indifferent on the ending. I guess it's the reset people wanted for this. But at the same time, it felt like there was not much character growth.
Well you see…

Din cared about Grogu

But now he really cares about him.

This season was not about Din. He was basically a side character. Too bad. I think this show really focused on catering to the Clone Wars fans. Personally those were some of my least fav clone wars episodes and it’s one of the reasons I was not in love with this season overall.

I also hate the stupid Mandalorian religion.

This is the way.

Get the **** outta here with all that :lol

I meant it as an armored baddie other than Vader or OT Fett being a bad ass in SW that’s all.
It’s funny you should mention Phasma…I don’t know if you followed Celebration..but there was a reveal that there is a Phasma series idea in the weeds and Gwen said herself (at Celebration Europe ) that Phasma is a complex character and this series is going to uncover a lot of secrets about her past and how she became a cold hearted robotic armored persona. Now there were no concrete production information on when exactly they are planning this Phasma series…if it does happen, expect it to be way after the Mando movie and Rey sequel . So this might not even happen ..but when it does, it was obvious Gwen is full on all abroad for the project.

Oh wow. First live action SW show I’ll never watch

Honestly, I just don't care. Another poorly executed ST character.:Flush

I didn't mind any of season 3 particularly, if it had been a longer series then the episodes might have made more sense as a whole but it all seemed very safe and predictable, and rushed. I also agree that the title character is not mando any more, and may never have been

He’s still very much the titular character, and he’s the only one people call “The Mandalorian”.

Sassafras initially felt like you but as any good friend would do I came and helped him enjoy the episode…

So his full name is now Din Grogu.

I always thought Din was his first name and Djarin was his family name.

I guess they do it backwards, like Japanese do?

I'm unaware of any other SW characters that have the surname first.
Mon Ephant

A straightforward finale. No twists or turns or surprises or deus ex machina cameos showing up to save the day. No surprising deaths, no cliff hangers.
A nice solid episode with some good action.
I'll never rewatch ep1-6 but I may well watch ep 7 & 8 again.
Overall this season sucked but at least it went out on 2 good episodes.
Now to wait for figures of red elite boys, white beskar boys and Gideon in shiny black beskar power armour.

I'm surprise they didn't do any teases or reveals to lead into the next season of shows. I was both refreshingly surprised and a little disappointed, if only because I wanted
"a bookend of the Imperial shadow council meeting after Gideon's downfall to wonder who would lead them, only for a new transmission to join them in the middle and Thrawn to show up,
