Yeah it's not like him being a clone or not a clone has any bearing on whether he can return or not. His body was missing after the explosion so if they want to just say he survived then they can. If they want to say there were any other number of surviving clones they can do that to. He only told Mando that the Force-sensitive clones were destroyed (not that I necessary believe that either) but they could easily say a previous generation clone without the Force is still running around somewhere.What's the difference?
None of it is any more or less silly than any other option, I'm just glad that for this episode they're at least allowing for the viewer to assume he's permanently gone if that's what they want.
