Crap I forgot that in the beginning of Episode 1 while they're cruising through hyperspace Grogu looks out the window and sees Lizzo flying next to them.
I don't know if all of his soldiers were supposed to get his augmented body armor or just him. Either way yes he was creating an "unstoppable army" of Force using Gideons. What was Gideon's plot? To make Dark Trooper 2.0's with his clones inside with Force powers?
Garlador’s previous post explained it perfectly! If Gideon was building an army of Force-wielding clones, why did he make black Mando armor?
Like Fett, was he trying to instill fear into his enemies?
Was he trying to frame the Mandalorians?
Did he feel he needed to dress up his clones in the local attire after taking over the planet?
Ooook fine I will be nice because you asked nicely lolI wish we could talk about Lizzo and criticize her awful performance without mocking her weight as if it were partially responsible for her painful lack of acting skills.
What are we calling Gideon's armor character? He mentioned Dark Trooper upgrade... did he have a name? Super-trooper or something?
The Moffinator. And yes, that means he’ll be back.Battle Armor Gideon?
Mando Gideon?
I was being naughty.I didn't notice anyone mocking her weight - in space she's weightless. Still an incredibly large mass capable of altering the trajectory of passing comets, but weightless nonetheless.
Don't care about her weight and anyway she's made a career of being in your face about it, and has actual talent.I wish we could talk about Lizzo and criticize her awful performance without mocking her weight as if it were partially responsible for her painful lack of acting skills.
Oh I didn't think of that. So if Season 4 is about Bo-Katan or other Mandalorians then that's cool. I just want this finale to be the end for him and Grogu. In that case they can keep going however long with other characters. No Pedro at Celebration plus no helmet removal proves this was his last season.
That's an acceptable take and hilariously contemporary in the sense that our villain trades in cultural appropriation of the first order (see what I did there? I know, I already feel dirty) ... but like many things Disney, it's not the concept I have an issue with, it's the execution. For me, it's an aesthetic failure. YMMV.See, I disagree, largely because visually… he’s exactly what you expect a “dark Mandalorian” to be. That’s what makes him thematically and visually so interesting is that, as the villain, he’s a walking perversion and corruption of Mandalorians.
Hot Toys will gladly take our money for a season 3 Mando with all the little trinkets.Wish Din had kept the shield. Awesome look!
