Uncle Ben has "stayed" dead, but I'm sure even he's been brought back a few times over the years.

I love how every decade or so, they pretend that the "shocking" death is so groundbreaking and revolutionary, but they just did it a few years ago. "Death of Captain America!!!!" Yeah, he was also dead for a while in the late 90s.

"Death of Robin!!!!" I guess they forgot that the vast majority of us were alive and reading comics in the late 80s.

For the longest time, the only character that was truly dead was Bucky, and look how that turned out.

When the writers brought back characters like Bucky, Jason Todd, Barry Allen....I finally had enough of American comic books.
