Anything about about rape and pedophiles. I just can't handle it.

I've never seen Human Centipede and probably never will. It doesn't sound disturbing, just really ****ing stupid.

I will say one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen is Jude.

On a side note, Alex DeLarge has never been a hero ,or anti-hero, or otherwise for me. I also find the Devils Rejects repugnant.

I don't think I could watch any of these, I couldn't even get through Cabin Fever 2 when it was on the syfy channel. Maybe cause I had ringworm at the time? lol. It's tough to even get through the synopse of some of these.

Requiem for a Dream is dead-on as a truly disturbing film. It's one of my favorite movies and I own the DVD, but I've only seen it once...it's that depressing.

I love me some horror movies, but some are more grueling to watch than others. I felt like I needed to take a shower after watching the first Hostel. Eli Roth is kinda a hack, but I still want to watch The Green Inferno. :monkey3

Two of the kills in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning were so horrific, I still can't look at the actors the same way. And the RV scene in The Hills Have Eyes remake felt like something that had to be endured.

If there's a movie that makes you feel sorry for a pedo, Hard Candy is that movie. Oh, Ellen Page, you evil little witch you. :lol And the "Imprint" episode of Masters of Horror is truly ****ed up. There's a reason why Showtime originally chose not to air it.

Right with you on Requiem mate. :duff

The #1 ranked movie from that link "Threads" was not mentioned here by anyone. I might have to find that one.

I have not seen the movie Soylent Green but I've heard that one is disturbing.

There is nothing in Soylent Green that is anything like some of these mentioned. I've seen it several times.

^you should do the whole avengers line up. :lol

who'll be the lucky bastard behind black widow? lolz

:rotfl

I wouldn't consider that person lucky at all, seeing that women have an extra bodily function that the person behind her would have to deal with too. :lol

It would never leave Khev's Blu Ray player.

Same here. Though I do think the film is very powerful, I don't think I would ever feel comfortable with a figure of him on the shelf.

Right. That's what I read. Was the movie any good though?
I'm hoping it's not one of those movies that's gross just to be gross. It seems to actually have a good plot.
I'd like to watch it some day.

Watch it. It's a good film. You have to remember that Charlton Heston stars in it and he wouldn't star in anything gross. I think it's more social commentary than anything else.

A Clockwork Orange is a very divisive film. For every one of its fans, such as Cap'n Cook and myself, there's someone else who finds it reprehensible.

I own both House of 1000 Corpes and The Devil's Rejects. :monkey3 Unlike Rob Zombie, however, I don't find a family of mass murderers heroic or admirable. :lol

Right with you on Requiem mate. :duff

I noticed Funny Games and Eden Lake were mentioned in the thread. What I found particularly disturbing about these films is that...

...the villains get away with their crimes. When a crime goes unpunished, when justice isn't meted out, like many people I find that problematic and unnerving.

people say this might be real, or fake, a hoax to try to make people stop going into the catacombs, but it is really scary

here is the full story on that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkiaJDtt4II

That would be scary to be trapped down there, and I'm sure it's haunted to a extent. Who knows what else is down there. As big of a mystery that it is, you'd think they would explore the whole catacomb to see what else might be down there. That videotape is prolly real, but we will never know if that guy go out or not. Very interesting.
