Re: The Apple Tablet "The iPad"

Anyone have experience with mobile payment processing through Square or Intuit on the iPad or iPhone?
The fees seem similar, so is one reader more reliable than the other?

Re: The Apple Tablet "The iPad"

I just bought the new ipad and I got to say wow to screen I got an iPhone 4 but the retina screen is nothing like the iPads it's like I am always watching a blu ray movie so looking at this forum and the Disney and Indiana jones statues is a true hd experience.

Re: The Apple Tablet "The iPad"

I used a large soft cloth I got from the eye doctor my mom works for. It does a pretty good job.

The iPad mini's pricing is ridiculous. There are lot of people claiming that it's aluminum and glass but realistically Apple effectively gave the size they were missing but completely missed the mark in terms of competiting with Amazon/Google. The mini to the comparable iPad 2 is only $70 cheaper. The new one $170. The idea behind Kindles was that they were cheap. This is not and realistically if I'm dropping that much on the iPad mini I don't see any reason why not to hold off for a month or so and just buy an iPad itself.

I'm scratching my head at how off the mark the pricing is on the new one. I was hope for a realistic Apple competitor to the Kindle.

Really it should have aimed at $200. $250 max. Apple should have done with it had to whether that was to dump the aluminum and use high grade plastics or whatever to keep it low, show people the nicer but have an entry level. This makes absolutely no sense, will sell a ton I'm sure but leaves me seriously doubting Tim Cook.

Quick hands-on impressions from The Verge.

Price and specs aside, it's still a slick and expensive-looking device, as usual.
