Upping the quality of certain items would help also. Better belts and holster, more Mike Fisher level. Shirt with buttons. Better fitting jacket....

I'll tell you right now, that won't happen. There's no way they could feasibly do that and sell enough at what they'd need to charge, to break even, let alone, turn a profit.

I think the overall quality of the clothing , accesories , belts ect... is actually pretty good quality . I'm really happy with Indy.

I agree. Just making the statement though, not really taking into account the feasibility and/or cost for SS to produce.

I think the belt was crap (holster belt). Plastic buckle... yuk.... still, great figure.

I had no problems with the quality either.

Maybe I should specify so I don't sound like I'm ^^^^^ing. I have three total Indys but my first had a horrid belt. The buckle was cracked right in the middle, the length was shorter then my other Indy belts and the loop was made from the most formless, flimsy piece of material ever. This has always bothered me for some reason. I use a Relic Hunter belt for one of mine, a SS for the other and, yes, this crap initial Indy belt for my third.... I just need to get a new belt and toss this one...

I never noticed that the buckle was plastic--I can see how that's cheap-y.

I'm gonna really have to go and scrutinize Indy's belt when I get home. Picture me at my desk, slumped over Indy with my face right at his crotch, and my wife entering the room not realizing what I was really doing: "OMG! What the #@%! are you doing to your doll?!?!?"

The thing that bothered me the most was the oversized holster.

It didn't help, that's for sure.

:lol I bet our wives would have a lot of fun sharing stories about their husbands doll collecting. The other night my wife had friends over and I took the baby so she could do "girls night".... I got home and my wife told me she was showing the girls my Predator 1, that I had just gotten. I didn't know if I should be mad that someone was touching my figures or happy that my wife thought he was cool enough to show off!

Anyway, a buckle that BUCKLES would :rock .... That isn't asking too much.

Unfortunately, when my wife shows her friends my collection, it's meant more to ridicule me! :lol Ahh, I still love her though, despite all her eye-rolls and face-palms! Although she does like my Iron Man Mk2 (that she got me for our anniversary), so there's hope for her yet!

I think it would look even worse if you used a magnifying glass! My wife picks on me too but she has paid for almost have of my MIB SS figures. She hates my Hasbro collection though. Good thing I stop colelcting them and have gotten rid of a bunch .

I do have a looes Indy to examine at home though along with about a dozen SW figs as well that I went back and bought the REG versions on so I could have somethinfg to display.

My wife bought me a couple SW VOTC figures way back when but since then vowed not to buy me any more collectibles because she doesn't know "what I'll keep and what I'll flip." It hasn't helped that I've totally changed the theme of my entire collection several times over the last few years.

Yup. with the most popular and well known version of Indy languishing in the SSC warehouses, I don't see them eager to release another less popular, more expensive version of the same outfit just with an added tie and a 7 years older Ford head.

So far as accessory packs, I don't think SS wants to be in the Barbie biz.

NO LC Indy ever, please. There are a bunch of better, more unique selections.

With that in mind, who then? If Sallah and Marion are deemed to be too obscure for SS to make then who isn't? They've also said the same for Marcus and I think I remember Short Round being ruled out for the near future.... We can also say that we may never get a Pat Roach (of any incarnation) due to size and exposed joints (doubt they can do him justice). So who's left, non Indy? Dietrich and maybe a German Soldier from ROTLA, Mola-Ram, Willy and maybe Lao Che from TOD, Donovan, Elsa, Grail Knight from LC? And I don't even want to get into KOTCS since what I really want figures from the first three.... Anyway, out of the eight I've listed there I can assume that if Marion isn't being made right now neither will Willy or Elsa be anytime soon. I can't see Dietrich, a German Trooper or Lao Che being sellers so we're left with Mola, Donovan (and he would need to include something pretty cool like an aged head sculpt) and the Grail Knight.... Am I missing anything?

Ah, Vogel... he would be pretty cool.

ToD BD Indy, Tux Indy, Map Room Indy, Young Indy and Professor Indy are all much, much better variant choices than yet another adventure gear rehash. Of course, Mola Ram, Marion, Short Round and Sallah are all preferable to more variants.

No doubt. I would even like German LC Indy more then another adventure Indy rehash.... I think it's time for an announcment. Mola would seem like a solid choice for Spooktacular....

I'd prefer to look at my shelf and see a bunch of faces and characters that made his stories so great, versus every rendition of Harrison ever shown in the Indy movies.

6 figures, 3 Indy's.... Not a good ratio and my point a few posts back was that SS seem to be ruling out some of the better "faces and characters" that we would all like to have, leaving us with little more then 50 different versions of Indy to choose from. I want Sallah, Marion, Short Round and Marcus... In that order.

Of course I'd like to see a wide variety of the characters from all the movies, but I also think it's important that they all have the Indy counterpart to go with them. Can you imagine a Mola Ram without a sleeveless Indy? Yes, kitbashing these are relatively easy, but I also WANT a new headsculpt portrayed from every movie to further distinguish the Indys beyond a wardrobe change.

A good chunk of us have been saying this since before you joined. Always nice to add another voice to the choir. :D
