Got the Yunsil coveralls but mine are a grey colour. So now need to dye to get dark green so will it be as simple as just getting some green dye or will I need a couple of colours? Anyone?

I would just leave them... They are suppose to be that color.... Look at the school yard scene. They match up perfect.

Yeah you're right. And others here are the same colour. The actually seem to change colour based on the lighting. Ignore the last message, just me being a dope.:slap

Coveralls not gray/charcoal. H1 olive green. H2 spruce green.

Look up rit dye mixes. You need a specific blue and green to get this look.

The coveralls are this colour, NO the coveralls are this colour......

In all seriousness I have never seen the coveralls as Grey or a Charcoal colour, ever.

That pic you posted my friend they are clearly a greenish colour. I personally think that the colour is olivewood and the night scene they look a blueish colour. And also remember they used a lot of blue lighting on set as well.

But just my opinion of course.

I think they look blue in some scenes, but never green. In that pic they look grey to my eyes. Hell, who knows what colors we're all seeing. This conversation might get philosophical. :lol

Based on that pic I'm seeing charcoal grey, the same colour as the coveralls I have. So dead on with the colour. Maybe it's just me, but with some of the yunsil coveralls I've seen in pics, some have the charcoal grey colour like mine and other have like an olive green. And the pic colours can change when looking back. I think lights being on have an effect also.

I'm happy anyway.

I see a slight greenish look to it, I wouldn't say it is noticeable but I can see there is some there when someone points out that it has a greenish tint.

I think it also comes down to your tv colours too. I tried to match my overalls to this picture afew years ago, and i showed the wife this pic and was tell her about hows its a grey/green colour. We watched Halloween later that night and when this scene came up they were grey/blue, and a very noticeable blue. We watched a blu ray copy of the film on a full HD tv, maybe thats why it was different? where alot of these pics were taken at the time or filming as well as off the dvd copy?

The color timing of whichever version of the film you're watching makes a big difference. I think the grey color of the coveralls allows us to see these color differences very easily. Older versions of Halloween looked warmer to make the leaves look more "fallish" whereas the leaves are bright green on the 35th Anniversary blu.

This is a picture of the actual screen used stunt coveralls for the end shooting scene. Luckily they are EXACTLY the same as the Yunsil coveralls I now own. :yess::
