It is the ToT! Great mask.
Though the hair has been matted up a bit and made to look messier. It really is a fine piece for the price! I hope to weather it a bit more, but it really gets the job done.
Personally, I think it looks better than some masks that are 200+

My neck is a little short, so I put a sponge on top of my head under the mask and it sits great! haha. Small thing but it makes a huge difference. The bottom two pics are without the sponge, and you can tell its too far forward and bunched up.

The knife is a replica Lamson.
The coveralls have bullet wounds with blood, but I need to touch up the red a bit.

That reminds me.. I've been meaning to ask... why haven't any big companies like HT or Neca started making 1/6th horror?

MEZCO used to, though they're not really poseable. I think NECA's supposed to as well, if they haven't already (but don't quote me on that). There's no money in it for HT given they cater more to an Asian market.

I just wish HT or Enterbay or some high end company would take the risk and produce a Myers an original Freddy, a Jason etc.

Surely they would sell well in the west and Europe?

Yeah it would be nice to see some newer 1:6 high end versions of those along with Leatherface, Ash, etc.

But Im pretty happy with my customs.

I thought horror was big in Japan...and Korea. They make some of the best movies :D

It would take more than lackluster remakes for that to even be on their radar, let alone for Sideshow to revisit them in 1:6 (if they even still have the license).

I think the issue is that although Horror is a very big genre...There's only a select few that collect scary figures.
I must admit, although I'm a huge huge horror fan, it took me awhile to jump on this line.
One of the main criteria in a good horror movie is a feeling of uneasiness, and that can carry over to the figures.
When I was younger and go to the wax museum, I love the horror section cause it was like going to a halloween haunted house, but once I leave that section, there was a sigh of relief getting out of there cause the wax figures gave a creepy feeling.

I had the same feelings when I first finally jumped into the horror line.
I remember waking up one evening and stopping by collectibles, and as I was staring at my modded Leatherface, I actually put him in the back of the other figures cause it creeped me out. :lol
That eventually gone away and my horror figures are actually now in the detolf that's in my bedroom.

I think as much as most people admire this genre, there's only a select number of people that wants to collect these, therefore most companies are reluctant to invest in horror lines.
Fortunately, there's a lot of customizers here who do an outstanding work to fill that void.

Another reason to hate those damn remakes.

Yeah I probably will have to go down the custom route to get a Michael Myers '78 in my collection.

I think a good company would find that releasing reasonably priced high-end licensed horror figures to a cult audience, might not line their pockets with gold, but the loyalty of the fan base would sure keep them full of silver as long as they kept producing good, solid figures and didn't get greedy and go crazy with overzealous edition sizes. You have to KNOW your audience.

And come on... Making a good Myers has to be peanuts to making an Iron Man. It's just the head sculpt and a good jumpsuit.

Hey whats the hand to grip the knife everyone keeps using? I need that thing.

It's from the hot toys Leonidas.
Assuming you're talking about this one..

Is it known if sideshow still has any of the horror licences?
They've really moved back into the 1/6 game(Well, outside of star wars and G.I Joe) this past year and a lot of the stuff is pretty impressive.
The announcement of the Snake Plissken figure has me hopeful for what they might do in the future with other cult movies.

Hopefully revisit some horror characters...

If these characters were good enough to be produced by them the first time then why not again with the quality that they're able to put out now?
They've done it with Snake eyes,Storm Shadow,Cobra Commander, and Darth Vader..

Michael deserves another go after this terrible abomination.:lol

Yeah, I own all of the old New Line run (save Pam Voorhees - just couldn't do it), but I'd be excited to see them redo the lines and visit some of the glaring holes they left. Though, having collected their 1:6 since the beginning, there's ZERO faith they'd even finish any line they started.

As for Michael, because of the legal issues regarding the mask, I always felt their MM was a Halloween 4 version (no Shatner likeness), so I didn't take as much issue with it as others did.

I've wondered myself if it was supposed to be a part 4 version. SS does do that from time to time. For example, their original Freddy figure technically was more accurate to the part 2 look then 1 having the red eyes and all that. However it is confusing because with Myers they included the bed sheet that he wore in the original Halloween....sooo not sure what their real attempt was.
